Car smashes into roof of Southern California house
A automotive careened off the highway and crashed into the roof of a Rancho Palos Verdes residence on Sunday night, leading to one particular person being taken to a close-by hospital.
The collision occurred round 5:50 p.m. at 28036 Santona Drive, in line with the Los Angeles County Hearth Division.
“It appeared like the entire home exploded,” home-owner Joann Killeen told KTLA.
The motive force was an older one who misplaced management of their automobile on a close-by embankment and had minor accidents, mentioned watch commander Lt. Rony Del Pinto of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division.
A photo from NBC Los Angeles confirmed the automotive embedded within the roof of the house. Photos shared by Killeen with KTLA confirmed that an inside room was trashed, and a gaping hole was left within the ceiling.
Del Pinto mentioned nobody else within the residence was injured and no arrest was made, calling it a “full accident.”
