Man installing Christmas lights in Escondido dies after being electrocuted
A person putting in Christmas lights in a tree in San Diego County was electrocuted and killed Thursday, in response to authorities.
The person, was working close to the intersection of Idaho Avenue and Skyline Drive in Escondido when he was electrocuted by an influence line, reported KNSD-TV.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Workplace confirmed that the employee was hospitalized and died of his accidents.
The house owner the person was working for informed KNSD that the accident occurred when the employee threw Christmas lights over the ability line.
“As soon as SDG&E [San Diego Gas & Electric Co.] shut the ability down, our crews had been capable of entry the sufferer through the ladder truck,” Escondido Hearth Division Battalion Chief Brian Salazar informed KNSD. “Introduced the sufferer down, the place he was positioned in an ambulance and transported to Palomar Hospital in essential situation.”
