Heather Graham remains distant from ‘estranged’ parents despite warnings about Hollywood: ‘I stand by my choices’

Heather Graham, the renowned model and actress, recently shared that she has chosen to become completely estranged from her parents, a decision she made after they warned her about the perils of the entertainment industry. Despite their cautionary advice, Graham proudly asserted that she is content with where she stands in life.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Graham disclosed that she left her family home at the tender age of 18, driven by a desire to pursue a career in Hollywood. Her father had expressed concerns about the industry, labeling it as “evil” and cautioning her about the potential dangers it posed to her well-being.
Recalling her upbringing, Graham revealed that her parents belonged to a generation that shied away from therapy or discussing personal matters, making it challenging for her to confide in them. This lack of communication led to a growing disconnect between her and her family.
Securing her first role in the 1988 film “License to Drive,” Graham realized that it was time to forge her own path and live independently. “Living with her was freeing,” she expressed, referring to sharing an apartment with a high school friend who was also pursuing a career in modeling and real estate.
Having transitioned from Virginia to California as a child, Graham grappled with the stark change in her social dynamics and identity. The relocation uprooted her from a vibrant social circle, plunging her into a state of isolation that spurred her to seek solace in literature and academic pursuits.
Despite facing challenges, Graham excelled academically and pursued an education at UCLA, only to pivot towards acting as her true passion. Notably, her breakthrough roles in films like “Austin Powers” and “Swingers” reinforced her self-sufficiency and prompted her to reevaluate her relationship with her parents.
At the age of 25, Graham made the difficult decision to cut ties with her parents, choosing to walk a different path supported by a strong circle of friends. Reflecting on her journey, she emphasized her pride in the life she has crafted for herself, which includes owning homes in both Los Angeles and New York.
Living in her California abode with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Graham finds solace in nature and the creative process. Despite the estrangement from her parents, she embraces her independence and cherishes the support of her close-knit group of friends.
Heather Graham’s story serves as a testament to the resilience and determination of an individual who navigated the complexities of the entertainment industry and personal relationships to carve out a fulfilling and authentic life for herself. Admirably, she stands tall, unwavering in her choices and unapologetically proud of the person she has become.

Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre hit by school bus, has ‘days to live’

Virginia Giuffre says she has only “days to live” after being hit by a bus.
The 41-year-old shared a gruesome hospital selfie via Instagram over the weekend, telling her followers about the “worst start to a new year.”
The Victims Refuse Silence creator, who didn’t wish to “bore anyone with the details,” continued, “When a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.”
Giuffre explained, “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.”
While she is “ready to go,” Giuffre wants to “see [her] babies one last time.”
She added, “You know what they say about wishes. S–T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s–t at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all xx Virginia 😔🙏🦋.”
In Sunday’s social media upload, Giuffre rested in a hospital bed in a white tank top with a visibly bruised face.
She is best known for suing Prince Andrew for sexual assault in 2021, claiming he allegedly raped her when she was part of late Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring at 17.
Giuffre and the Duke of York, who denied any wrongdoing, settled the case out of court the following year.
The amount is reported to have been as much as $12 million.
That same year, Queen Elizabeth II stripped her son’s military titles and patronages.
Andrew, 65, has continued to attend family events, including brother King Charles III’s May 2023 coronation following Elizabeth’s passing.
The following year, however, he was disgraced again after being named a “close confidant” of an alleged Chinese spy.
Despite Charles, 76, reportedly cutting off his siblings’ $1.3 million allowance in November 2024 amid the scandal, a senior palace insider told Page Six the following month that “the King is perfectly aware he’s got to look after his brother.”
The source noted, “He may not like him, but he will do it.”

‘NYPD Blue’ alum Kim Delaney arrested on felony assault charge

Former “NYPD Blue” star Kim Delaney and her husband, James Morgan, were arrested following an alleged domestic dispute.
The pair was taken into custody on Saturday morning after deputies from the Marina Del Rey Sheriff’s Station responded to a domestic disturbance at their Los Angeles home, per People.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ Delaney and Morgan got into a “heated argument that turned physical.”
Delaney was reportedly booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon, while Morgan was booked for misdemeanor battery.
Morgan’s bail was set for $20,000, per the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department inmate information center.
Both the “General Hospital” star and her husband have court appearances scheduled for Tuesday.
Reps for Delaney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The couple’s arrests came nearly six months after Delaney celebrated her and Morgan’s second wedding anniversary.
“A beautiful 2nd wedding anniversary!!! 10/11. And now anniversary weekend!” she gushed on Instagram in October 2024.
“Great memories! I love you, hubby-your wife for life.”
Delaney also shared a PDA snap on her account two weeks ago — with the caption, “Pure love.”
Delaney became well known for her long-running role as Detective Diane Russell on “NYPD Blue,” which ran on ABC from 1995 to 2003.
The actress won an Emmy in 1997 for her performance on the cop drama. She was also nominated in 1998 and 1999.
Her acting resume also includes roles in “All My Children,” “Chicago Fire” and “The O.C.”
