Katie Gaudreau Says Late Brother Matthew’s Son Looks ‘More and More’ Like Him

Matthew Gaudreau’s son is already taking after his late dad.
Katie Gaudreau, Matthew’s sister, shared a sweet photo on Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 1, cuddling her baby nephew Tripp, whom Matthew’s wife Madeline Gaudreau welcomed in late December.
Wearing a blue onesie, Tripp can be seen cuddling into his aunt’s shoulder, who posed in front of a photo of her late brothers — Matthew and NHL player Johnny Gaudreau, who both tragically died in a bike crash in Oldmans Township, N.J., after they were hit by a drunk driver — and also a photo of Matthew with Madeline.
“Tripp Matthew. 🤍🦋,” Katie wrote in her caption. “I love you forever and ever. We are so lucky to have our little piece of heaven on earth. You look more and more like your dad everyday. Words can’t begin to express how much I love you 🤍.”
“Tripp loves his auntie kt,” Madeline sweetly wrote back in the comments.

Johnny and Matthew were biking on Country Route 551 North just after 8 p.m. when a driver suspected to be under the influence of alcohol attempted to pass another car and fatally hit the brothers, New Jersey State Police told PEOPLE. The driver, Sean M. Higgins, was charged with two counts of death by auto and arrested, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
Even though Matthew wasn’t physically there when Madeline gave birth, in January, the newly minted mom said she knew he was watching over her.
After sharing the news that she’d welcomed their son Tripp in December, Madeline posted a photo of her hand on her Instagram Stories, which showed her wedding ring, while she was in the hospital.
Although the rest of her body wasn’t in the photo, Madeline appeared to be in her hospital bed and hooked up to an IV after giving birth, writing, “Had Matty with me the whole time 🤍🤍🦋🦋🦋.”
On Aug. 31, Madeline shared a post on Instagram saying that she will “keep going” for him and their baby boy following his death.
Alongside a photo of the pair wrapping their arms around one another, Madeline wrote, “I have no words. I just miss you. I don’t know my life without you. I have never experienced a pain like this. I am so blessed you choose me to be your wife.. to love me. you are the best thing about me. I know you are watching down in just as much pain as I am looking up. I will keep going for you and our son.”
“I love you so much Matthew,” Madeline concluded the post.

Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi celebrated their little boy with an epic birthday party!
On Saturday, June 28, the Selling Sunset star, 34, and the Wild N’ Out creator, 44, celebrated their son Legendary Love’s 3rd birthday with a Marvel-themed party, complete with live superheroes, games, a bounce house and ball pit. PEOPLE got an exclusive glimpse inside all the day’s festivities, with Tiesi noting her favorite part of the day was singing happy birthday to her son.
“My favorite part of the day was probably singing him happy birthday, since he loves to say, ‘Happy birthday to MYSELF!’ ” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s so adorable! But in all honesty, the happiness of my child is all I care about. If he’s happy, then I’m happy—and that was accomplished thanks to everyone involved on his special day. We’re already talking about next year!”

According to Tiesi, coming up with the theme was “pretty easy” because the toddler is “obsessed” with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The reality TV star spared no expense in order to guarantee her son had an amazing time.
“We definitely went over the top to make sure he had everything — even if it meant having not one, but five of his favorite characters,” she tells PEOPLE. “Obviously, we had to go with a 5-tier Marvel cake that Caked Up By Joycee crushed, along with custom-made snacks from vendors I’ve used for several of my parties Sugar Wasted Candy Buffets, Sweetcakery LA — all great and talented people!”
“We had all the Marvel character stations that Legendary loves, a photo-themed section, and real-life superheroes who came thanks to My Party Zebra. Even our food vendors like The Smash Rod’s Burgers and Los Angeles Pizzeria Co. came with themed menus and delicious food,” she adds. “He had the best time, and as a mom, that’s all I can ask for. It’s going to be a birthday he remembers for sure.”
Tiesi shares with PEOPLE that although her son loves to be involved in everything, she kept most of the details of his extravagant party under wraps, wanting it to be as much of a surprise as possible. For her, the day started at 8 a.m., when she set up all the games and activities for the almost 200 party guests.
“All our vendors were amazing, and I’m so grateful for their hard work. Our custom signage from Zengravings and the custom details from Snackify really set things apart from any party I’ve thrown,” she says. “Truly couldn’t have done it without them.”

The guests started to arrive at the house at 2 p.m., and the party went on through the entire evening. Tiesi described the event as “complete chaos in the best way.”
“I’m so thankful for Real Productions Inc. and Alanvphotos for capturing it all on camera, because there was no way I could juggle it all!” she adds.

This birthday was definitely one to remember. There was a show with Legendary’s favorite Marvel characters and themed stations for each superhero, like laser tag for Iron Man and bricks for Hulk. They also had a balloon blow-up globe, since Legendary loves balloons, and so much more.
“We had different stations throughout the yard, a bounce house from Bounce Rentals LA, which had a slide and a ball pit, face painting, and a bubble show that Marmalade Kids Show came and did,” she shares. “We had arts and crafts where all the kids could design their own capes and masks — Little Artist Party helped us out with that too.”
“All of the guests also went home with a gift box, custom t-shirt, and personalized water bottles and chocolate,” Tiesi adds. “I don’t play when it comes to parties, and I definitely didn’t hold back on this one!”

Natalie Portman’s rarely seen son makes surprise appearance to impress Twitch star

Natalie Portman’s rarely seen son sweetly flaunted his famous mom to impress a Twitch star.
Portman’s 14-year-old child, Aleph, was seen FaceTiming the “Jackie” actress in a video shared by gaming streamer Marlon Lundgren Garcia.
In the short clip, Aleph was seen excitedly approaching the internet personality to ask if he knew who Portman was.
“No, I don’t think so, why?” the gamer, who goes by Marlon, responded to the child.
Aleph explained that the actress was in “Star Wars,” prompting Marlon to reply in shock, “That’s your mom?”
The video then transitioned to Aleph video-calling Portman on his iPhone so Marlon could give her a virtual shoutout.
“You want to say hi to Marlon?” Aleph asked Portman. The Hollywood star then greeted Marlon with a laugh.
“How are you doing? Hi! I’m sorry for disturbing you,” Marlon told Portman as he took the phone from Aleph.
“I just wanted to say hi real quick,” he added.
Portman, who was seen getting her hair done on the phone screen, told him it was “nice to meet” the YouTuber.
Marlon explained that he was with her son “about to play a little football.” However, Portman had trouble understanding what he was saying.
“I’m sorry, I like, can’t hear anything but I hope you’re having a great day!” Portman said with a smile.
Marlon told the “No Strings Attached” star that it was nice to meet her and thanked her for her time before hanging up the phone.
The internet star, who boasts 2.3 million TikTok followers, explained that Portman was his “biggest crush” growing up.
“Very beautiful woman, very good son, I just want to respectfully say that,” he said. “But that’s insane.”
Portman, 44, shares Aleph as well as daughter Amalia, 8, with her ex‑husband Benjamin Millepied.
The “May December” star recently explained why she keeps her kids relatively out of the spotlight in a conversation with Jenna Ortega for Interview Magazine published in April.
“I’m not a particularly private person in real life — I’ll tell you anything — but in public, it was so clear early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy gets respected a lot more,” she explained.
“I set up a little bit of a barrier to be like, ‘I’m not going to do photo shoots with my kids,’” she added.
Portman and the French choreographer tied the knot in 2012 — but they divorced after 11 years of marriage when the movie producer allegedly had an affair.
