Frankie Muniz at a ‘New Low’ Mentally and Emotionally

- Frankie Muniz shared that he’s at a “new low” mentally and emotionally in a post on X
- The Malcolm in the Middle alum-turned-NASCAR driver had a challenging race on April 18, where his power steering line burst
- He said he’s “oddly cursed” but was thankful for his team, saying, “They’re sticking with me”
Frankie Muniz is at a “new low” mentally and emotionally, amid setbacks in his recent races.
“If I’m being 100% honest… Mentally/emotionally I may be at a new low. Just wanted to say it out loud,” the former Malcolm in the Middle star — and now NASCAR driver — shared in an April 21 post on X.
While racing in the April 18 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina, Muniz, 39, had technical difficulties early on that derailed him.

“My power steering line burst, so I lost power steering,” he said in a post-race interview with Peter Stratta. “I ripped a hole in my hand [turning the wheel].”
He called trying to steer “the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” and the setback left him essentially out of the race, Muniz explained, saying he’s “oddly cursed or something.”
Since Feb. 14, when he finished 10th at Daytona, Muniz has struggled to finish above 21st place.
“Our goal is always top 20,” he told Stratta. “I’ve had bad luck for almost two years straight.”
Still, he praised his team, saying, “I really love them … They’re sticking with me, and I hope the fans do, too. I hope they don’t turn on me.”

He continued, “How many times can I say, ‘Wow, I got bad luck,’ “ sharing that his “super supportive” wife, Paige Muniz has said, “‘Maybe it’s you, like, maybe you’re just not good.’ “
“So I hope people see that. I mean, people are going to say what they do, but you know we’re trying really hard.”
“I think at first, maybe people thought [racing] was like a hobby,” Muniz recently told PEOPLE.
“Then to have an actor jump in, it probably is a little odd. I get that,” Muniz shared. “But you earn respect or the recognition as a driver and not just as an actor when you’re out there competing and beating them, right? That’s what I’m trying to do.”

Pro-life Kelsey Grammer reveals ex aborted their son

Pro-lifer Kelsey Grammer regrets not speaking out more when his 1974 girlfriend had an abortion.
The actor talked about how two of his previous partners have had abortions in his new memoir, “Karen: A Brother Remembers,” which is centered around the brutal rape and murder of his younger sister.
“I know that many people do not have a problem with abortion, and though I have supported it in the past, it eats away at my soul,” the “Frasier” star, 70, writes.
Grammer goes on to explain that, while he was studying at The Juilliard School in 1974, his live-in girlfriend became pregnant.
Despite telling her that he was “willing” to keep the baby, he writes, “I never wanted her to accuse me of being unwilling to have the child, but I also did not plead with her to save his life.”
“I supported the idea that a woman has the right to do what she wants with her own body. I still do. But it was hard for me. Still is.”
The Emmy winner further admits that he believes a woman has autonomy over their own body, but adds, “A child’s right to exist? Of course. Life.”
“Six months before my sister was slaughtered, I volunteered to have my son’s body vacuumed out of his mother’s. I regret it,” he notes, referencing his sister, Karen, who died in 1975 at 18.
He went on to criticize the “so-called doctors, who have executed generations of children in this manner.”
“I have no idea how they call themselves doctors. But I offer no controversy,” he adds.
Years later, Grammer faced the same decision when his fourth and current wife, Kayte Walsh, was pregnant with fraternal twins.
At 13 weeks, the male fetus’s sacs ruptured, and the “so-called doctors” told the couple that “his continued growth without the safety of his amniotic fluid would surely kill him.”
Under the threat that the potential leakage would also probably kill the female fetus, the duo decided to abort the male one. Kayte later safely delivered a girl named Faith.
“We killed him. Our son. We killed our son so Faith might live. We wept as we watched his heart stop. Saw it. It is the greatest pain I have known,” he writes.
The “Cheers” alum has welcomed seven children with four different women, including two with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Camille Grammer.
He previously admitted that he has had “some failings” as a parent, including an estrangement with his oldest daughter, Spencer.
“Karen: A Brother Remembers” is available for purchase now.

Justin Bieber Posts to Instagram While Wife Hailey Walks the Met Gala Carpet Solo

Justin Bieber opted for a cozy night at home instead of the 2025 Met Gala.
Bieber, 31, shared a video of himself watching the Toronto Maple Leafs open their playoff series against the Florida Panthers with a 5-4 win at home with friends on the evening of Monday, May 5. Meanwhile, his wife, Hailey Bieber, hit the carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year’s Met Gala theme was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style and sought to honor the legacy of the Black dandy and the Black tailors behind some of the most iconic moments in fashion history.
The model and Rhode founder, 28, wore a black blazer mini dress, and teamed the double-breasted look with sheer tights, patent, platform pumps and a slew of Tiffany & Co. jewels. Hailey was seen with a martini in hand on the way to the steps of the Met, though she was no longer holding the cocktail by the time she walked the carpet.
The pair made their Met debut in 2021, and Hailey walked solo the following year.
Justin’s choice to stay home comes after he shared a photo of himself on Instagram smoking a bong in the background of an image of Australian singer-songwriter Eddie Benjamin playing guitar on May 4.
The post added to the ongoing concern from fans about his mental health due to a series of vulnerable social media posts and an emotional plea to the paparazzi to stop photographing him.

Justin also shared a photo of himself on Instagram at Coachella in April allegedly smoking marijuana next to his 15-year-old cousin. In the video, which was posted on X in April, Justin is seen dancing in the crowd shirtless, with the alleged blunt-like object in his mouth. The camera then follows as he moves to the right next to his brother, Jaxon. (Bieber has four half-siblings, Jaxon and sisters Allie, Jazmyn and Bay.)
At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Bieber’s former circle was concerned about him.
“He is facing a lot of different demons right now,” the source said. “He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business.”
The insider added, “People are worried about him.”

Vogue announced Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour would be co-chairs for this year’s Met Gala in October 2024, alongside LeBron James as an honorary chair. The event is a fundraiser for The Costume Institute and spotlights the museum’s spring 2025 exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
Curator in Charge Andrew Bolton shared that the exhibit, which is inspired by guest curator Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”
The exhibit “presents a cultural and historical examination of Black style from the 18th century to the present through an exploration of the concept of dandyism,” according to a post on the museum’s Instagram.

Sofia Richie’s Met Gala 2025 gown is tied with a bow

The queen of quiet luxury has arrived.
All eyes were on Sofia Richie as she stepped onto the Met Gala 2025 red carpet Monday night.
Following her buzzed-about bridal era and unmatched maternity style, Richie, 26, once again showed off her impeccable fashion sense, wearing a form-fitting white gown with a back cutout and huge bow detail.
She followed the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme with the perfectly tailored, timeless silhouette.
The Los Angeles native also made sure her glam complemented the outfit, wearing her blond hair pulled back into a chic updo and opting for neutral makeup with diamond jewelry.
This isn’t the first time Richie has walked the Met steps. She made her debut at the star-studded event in 2015, rocking a sleek white halter gown from Stella McCarthy.
Richie — who previously dated Scott Disick — attended for the second time in 2016, choosing a leopard-print Topshop look.
She wore the brand again the following year, nailing her Met Gala 2017 look with a plunging metallic gown.
Last May, the model welcomed her first child, daughter Eloise Grainge, with her husband, music exec Elliot Grainge. The two tied the knot in 2023, saying “I do” in a lavish ceremony in the South of France.
The following month, the model hosted a luxe garden party — complete with Dior tableware — to celebrate her newborn, gathering family and friends in her backyard for the festivities.
Richie has kept a relatively low profile since giving birth, at least in terms of red carpet appearances.
However, the social media star made a splash at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2025 in early March, posing in a sparkly black peplum gown from Giorgio Armani’s fall 2025 collection.
She’s also been trying her hand at designing, creating collections for Tommy Hilfiger, as well as a kids’ line for Amazon.
Richie’s fashion moment tonight was just as swoon-worthy as we imagined.
