When Dave was a freshman at Beverly Hills High School, Dave ‘s parents first started home breeding kombucha. Parents of Dave and older brother Adam instinctively had to drink it, but Dave felt it was weird, and then recalled “I say, ‘everyone thinks we are The Addam Gang.'”
In 1994, Laraine was diagnosed with breast cancer, and a year was spent on lumpectomy and chemotherapy.
Dave, who was taking classes of business from Santa Monica College, began homebrewing kombucha himself to bring it to market after he had left high school early and received his GED.
Personal Life:
Dave and Allan Fanucchi’s are gay and happily married. Together they welcomed their first child.
He drinks eight to twelve kombucha bottles a day and tastes each batch. Dave is living in California, Beverly.
Dave’s older brother Justin died in 1996 because of bone cancer. Dave ‘s parents have been divorced since his death, and he remains loyal to Laraine, his girlfriend, whose cancer therapy is a part of selling GT’s Living Foods.

When his elder brother died their parents got divorced after this and lived separately. Dave was more attached to his mother and lived with her until the last time of his mother. His mother got recovered by using the homemade drinks they made at Kombucha.
His mother got cancer in 1994 and so he lived with her and loved her more than his father.

Starting of Career:
In 1995, at the age of 17, Dave formed the business and is run by his father. The company is responsible for handicrafts of raw and organic Kombucha tea, a probiotic fermented drink. Also, Veggie Kefir, Synergy, Coco kefir, Alive, Cocoyu, and Kombucha are the GT’s Living Foods producers.
The products are currently available on local health-food markets and it would surprise you if your company did not spend money on the advertising of the product but would like to talk about the product themselves. It has several health advantages and, for this reason, numerous famous persons such as Madonna, Reese Witherspoon and so on started drinking it.
GT’s Kombucha grew and rented a 2 000-square-foot industrial space in Gardena in December 1997 and started to hire staff when he sold 30 to 50 bills a day.
That was when Whole Foods Industry raised questions about its delivery. At first, he refused to consider his bid but eventually agreed to accept it, stressing the value that its commodity is secured.
The first is GT Dave, 41, the maker of GT’s Living Foods, the second is his ‘playhouse.’ I’m told in the room no-shoes policy as I enter the room and I look at people worried about using medical boots as they clean the dirt off the polished white surfaces.
It is even clearer when Dave has yet to appear but once he has, that probiotic, living foods have provided Dave with luxuries as white leather patents, silver-fashioned Christian Louboutin clothing shoes, a wardrobe consisting mainly of Alexander McQueen, and hands-only enhanced with Cartier Jewelry and Rolex watches.
The GT Living Foods story is also the Dave family story. Dave’s mom Laraine was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer; Dave ‘s father used a booster purchased from a Buddhist nun who took her from the Himalayas, and she drilled a great deal and her immune-enhancing attributes added to her healing. Their story goes like this.
Dave still makes his kombucha the way he did in his parents ‘ home – nursing lives, handcrafted fermented Tea in five-gallon containers in which he can tinker and innovate flavors such as Lavender Love and Watermelon Wonder – even though his facilities are strictly unrestricted to any person outside the business.
Now GT’s Kombucha had been in the South-West shops, leasing another 2000 m2 of Gardena space.
Demand began to rise as Dave expanded to more locations, trying to sustain demand, but focusing on the conventional approach of tight control of each lot. Their demand continues to increase.
The GT’s Kombucha was later known as the GT’s Living Foods and now produces more than one million bottles a year on its Vernon 100,000square-foot campus.
Dave is the only owner of GT’s Living Foods, worth over EUR950 million and holding 40% of the U.S. kombucha market.

Story Behind Kombucha:
The coconut water market — and over half is GT’s. The health of Justin improved and the domestic burden of his parents subsidized. Nothing like commercial kombucha existed before GT’s. Laraine had meditated on the future of her family and vowed to go away with contraceptives, letting fate take over.
GT owns 100% of its owners and has only received one loan, Laraine’s $10,000. He says how nature led his prosperity until he was born and he’s badly dead. That night, he tells me, his parents already had two sons and didn’t want a third. analysis, this year consumers will buy $600 million worth of the fizzy stuff–that roughly equals the U.S.
Late one night, his father rolled over and made love to his mother “in the lotus position, of all positions,” he says. The category, which started in local health-food markets and went national thanks to Whole Foods, has now spread to Safeway and even Walmart.
The family had a string of good fortune after GT arrived. “When he can say that I do not fully grasp this miracle, GT is unfazed.” It’s just something that was meant to be. The 69-year-old mom of the GT group, Laraine Dave, is sitting in the sitting room of her hilltop home across L.A.’s exclusive Bel-Air enclave, a white modernist affair perched above a rainy canyon. She’s laughing and leaning into the conversation.
“I’ve been made,” says GT. But one son, Justin, has a heart condition that threatens life. The story is also that of the exceptional development of the bootstrap. His parents’ taste for homebrewed kombucha played into all those things, and GT eventually saw himself as a sort of conduit for spreading the love, the missionary of an almost magical elixir.
Educated by East Philosophy mother, GT Dave took a very young age philosophical view of the world. During the early ‘ 90s, Dave’s were dodged by a Himalayan mother scuba, intrigued by old healing properties of Kombucha and decided to brew a fizzy fermented tea of their own.
In late 1994, an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer was diagnosed with GT ‘s mother, Laraine. Laraine told doctors when she was healed that she was drinking a sumptuous, homemade tea. The tea was Kombucha’s GT.
It became the task of GT to make his Kombucha accessible to all, everywhere, inspired by the experience of his mother.
