Kate Middleton and Prince William Drop Rare Family Video with Kids

NEED TO KNOW
- Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a new video of their family preparing for Trooping the Colour, the official name for King Charles’ birthday parade
- “All set for Trooping the Colour!” courtiers captioned the clip on June 14
- A similar video was cited as a reason why the Prince and Princess of Wales apparently arrived late to King Charles’ coronation in May 2023
Kate Middleton and Prince William are giving a glimpse of how they got ready for Trooping the Colour.
On June 14, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Trooping the Colour celebration honoring King Charles‘ official birthday with their three kids, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
In a fun update on the day of the parade, William and Kate’s team shared a new video of the family leaving Buckingham Palace just moments before they appeared in public. The shot showed the Wales family from a new view as they headed out before the crowds.
“All ready for Trooping the Colour!” the Prince and Princess of Wales’ team captioned the clip on X, adding an emoji of the Union Jack flag.
The video opened to show William walking down the steps in the ceremonial uniform of the Welsh Guards, a regiment he backs as Colonel, with a hand to the chinstrap of his bearskin hat. The camera cut to the Prince of Wales saddling up on a black horse named Darby and setting off on his mount to participate in the parade.
The frame flashed to Princess Kate on the palace steps with her kids and them moving to enter the Ascot Landau carriage. The Princess of Wales put a warm hand on her daughter Charlotte’s back, a subtle sign of their tight bond. Princess Kate and her only daughter matched their outfits at Trooping the Colour, where they twinned in aqua ensembles.

The video rolled to show Kate and Charlotte seated side-by-side in the carriage, with George and Louis opposite. Prince Louis had his eyes locked on the camera, while Princess Charlotte and Princess Kate smiled.
The Prince and Princess of Wales keep followers looped with their latest activities on their shared social media pages and the recap videos are a newer feature of their feeds. Two years ago, a similar video was speculated as a reason why they apparently arrived late to King Charles’ coronation.
In the book The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy, royal biographer Robert Hardman wrote that King Charles and Queen Camilla inadvertently arrived early for their crowning ceremony crowning at Westminster Abbey in May 2023. The couple reached the church before Pages of Honor like Prince George, and there was another snag in the schedule.
“Unbeknown to them, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their two younger children are running a minute and a half late. The Waleses are supposed to be there eight minutes ahead of the King and Queen. Yet they will now arrive after them,” Hardman wrote in the bookpublished in January 2024.

“Although the congregation inside the abbey don’t know it, there is an awkward scene unfolding outside as the King and Queen are in their coach. It is an added layer of stress that the couple really do not want or need on a day like this,” he wrote.
The author added that there were a few opinions on the root of the issue.
Some said that William and Kate’s decision to make a coronation video added “precious seconds” to their schedule on the day of the ceremony, while staff for the Prince and Princess of Wales speculated that because the King reached the abbey early, the Wales’ car got caught behind his cavalcade.

Kourtney Kardashian is quite literally a hands-on mama.
In new photos shared by the 46-year-old mother of four, the Lemme co-founder spends some quality time with her youngest son, 19-month-old Rocky Thirteen.
“true love will always bring you back home to your own soul 🖤,” she captioned a Friday, June 13 Instagram carousel.
Kardashian welcomed her baby boy with husband Travis Barker in November 2023. She also shares Mason, Penelope and Reign with her ex, Scott Disick, while Barker, 49, is father to his son, Landon, daughter Alabama and his stepdaughter, Atiana, all of whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Rocky sat on his mother’s lap in the cover image, looking away from the camera. Another photo showed some of the toddler’s steps as he and his mommy walked side-by-side down a hallway.
He wore a black jersey with the number “13” written in white on the back, paired with gray bottoms. Kardashian extended her hand toward him in case he needed assistance.
The roundup ended with a picture of several flower vases situated underneath a painting of a baby drumming.
The POOSH founder and the Blink-182 drummer were recently photographed at WWE’s Money in the Bank event on June 7 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Baby Barker was also present for the fun outing, sitting on mommy’s lap once again as cameras focused in on the family as the event announcers acknowledged them. According to Rocky’s outfit, the images Kardashian shared Friday appear to be from last week’s sporting event.
Kardashian has been vocal about holding on to her baby boy as much as possible while he’s still young.
While answering fan questions on her Instagram Stories in May 2024, she gave a fellow new mother parenting advice after she was asked, “Any tips on a baby who only likes to be held to take a nap?”

“Enjoy every second! We do the same,” Kardashian said in her response. “He’s never been in his crib. It’s my favorite thing in the world.”
She recently revisited the conversation again, almost one year to the exact date.
During a May 2025 appearance on her sister’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the mom of four and Khloé Kardashian discussed parenthood.

“We’re just kind of go with the flow,” Kourtney said, pointing out how she differs from Khloé’s “very scheduled and planned out” life with daughter True, 7 and son, Tatum, 2, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
“And, also with the attachment style parenting, I hold him for his naps,” Kourtney continued. After confirming to her sister that she holds him “the whole time” and shared that she once held him for five hours, she explained, “I’ll sit in my little chair, usually in the room, and then I still have my little breastfeeding pillow, and he’ll kind of lay on there with my arms under, and then I have a little radiation blanket that I put over to protect from EMFs.”

Blake Lively asks judge to block Justin Baldoni from obtaining Taylor Swift messages

Blake Lively filed a motion asking the court for a “protective order” to block Justin Baldoni from accessing her text messages with Taylor Swift as their nasty legal battle rages on.
The “Age of Adeline” star filed documents to New York judge Lewis J. Liman, who has presided over the case thus far, on Friday, alleging that the director and his team’s pursuit of her exchanges with the pop star are part of their long-planned “tactic” to leverage the singer and her fans.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, Lively claims that her communication with Swift is “not central” to her complaint against the actor and are “irrelevant” to his Wayfarer production company’s claims.
“Throughout litigation, and particularly over the past month, the Wayfarer Parties have repeatedly
used Ms. Swift’s name as part of their media strategy,” the letter reads.
As Baldoni’s team dropped their probe into Swift, 35, and Lively’s friendship, claiming that they obtained the details they wanted, Lively’s team claimed to the judge that a continued pursuit would be “duplicative, cumulative, and unnecessary.”
“Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties are still demanding access to Taylor Swift’s private communications—despite having already subpoenaed and then withdrawn that subpoena after they ‘got all they needed,’” a spokesperson for Lively told Page Six of the new legal move.
“As reflected in today’s filing, their intent to drag Taylor Swift into this was evident as far back as August 2024, when the crisis PR firm led by Melissa Nathan included her in their ‘Scenario Planning’ document and flagged the ‘TS fanbase’ as something to take ‘extremely seriously.’”
The statement closed: “The ongoing attempts to once again try and use the world’s biggest star as a PR tactic in this matter reflects a public unraveling of epic proportions—and serves only to distract from the fact that Justin Baldoni’s lawsuits against Ms. Lively, Ryan Reynolds, their publicist, and the New York Times have been entirely dismissed.”
Reps for Baldoni and Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The director, 41, initially dragged the pop star into his messy legal feud with Lively in January when he launched his $400 million countersuit against the “A Simple Favor” star and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
His attorney Bryan Freedman alleged that Swift was at the scene of a significant meeting between the two co-stars.
He also claimed that the “Gossip Girl” alum, 37, weaponized her friendship with Swift in an attempt to take control of their film set.
After hitting the “Bad Blood” hitmaker with an official subpoena in May, Baldoni and his legal team dropped it and their probe into her friendship with the actress later that month.
At the time, Lively’s rep responded to the update, saying, “We are pleased that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm.”
“We supported the efforts of Taylor’s team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process.”
In a shocking legal twist, the director’s countersuit against the famous couple was thrown out by the New York judge on Monday — along with his $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times.
In his reasoning, the magistrate wrote that the “Jane the Virgin” alum and his Wayfarer Studios production company “have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her [California Civil Rights Department] complaint, which are privileged.”
Baldoni’s legal team has until June 23 to amend their claims for breach of implied covenant (suggesting that terms agreed upon in their legal agreement were violated) and tortious interference with contract (intentionally disrupting the relationship or contractual agreement between parties, potentially leading to significant financial damages and reputational harm).
Despite the recent update, there’s still a long way to go for the bitter feud. The trial date for Lively and Baldoni’s case has been set for March 2026.
