Ever since it was announced that And Just Like That… was coming to an end, many fans have been on the edge of their seats and wondering if Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) would return.
The series finale, titled “Party of One,” aired Thursday, Aug. 14, and gave viewers the answer to that lingering question.
So, did Cattrall return as Samantha to help the Sex and the City revival series come to a full-circle conclusion after three seasons?

No, Cattrall does not return as Samantha for the And Just Like That… series finale.
The episode revolved around Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), who decides to work on accepting her next phase in life, while Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) hosts Thanksgiving for the first time in her new apartment. Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) is included in the episode as well, helping Carrie and Miranda out by bringing stuffing to the gathering.

Samantha’s absence doesn’t come as a huge shock, though.
Cattrall famously played the outspoken and sexually liberated PR professional for all six seasons of Sex and the City from 1998 and 2004.
After the original series ended, Cattrall returned in the two feature films, released in 2008 and 2010. However, she did not return for the revival series, which first aired in 2021.
Samantha’s absence from the series was first explained in the season 1 premiere, when it was revealed that she and Carrie had fallen out after Carrie fired her as her publicist. As a result, Samantha moved to London.
During season 1, Samantha sent flowers to Big’s (Chris Noth) funeral and connected with Carrie over text. Following the season 1 finale, the two characters had an off-screen reunion for drinks when Carrie was in Paris.

Cattrall made her only on-screen return on And Just Like That… in the season 2 finale.
Samantha was in a car on the way to London’s Heathrow Airport for a quick trip to New York City, as Carrie was moving out of her iconic Upper East Side brownstone into her Gramercy Park townhome.
With her flight delayed, Samantha called Carrie to tell her she wouldn’t make it to her “Last Supper” at her old apartment. Carrie put Samantha on speakerphone so she could “pay my respects” to that “f—— abulous, fabulous flat.”
Samantha did return once again — in text message form — earlier in season 3. Carrie texted Samantha to ask her about Duncan Reeves (Jonathan Cake), the British author who was living on the garden level of her townhome, and the two had a little banter reminiscent of their Sex and the City dynamic.

Michael Patrick King announced on Aug. 1 that And Just Like That… would be ending after three seasons.
In a statement posted on Instagram, the showrunner said, “And Just Like That…. the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end.”
King explained that while writing the season 3 finale, “It became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”
“SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the world ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season,” he continued. “It is with great gratitude that we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”

Parker delivered an emotional tribute to Carrie and the Sex and the City universe while reacting to the cancellation news.
Parker’s heartfelt post encapsulated the breadth of Carrie’s journey over the past nearly 30 years, including all of her ups and downs.
The actress included a callout to Nixon, Cattrall and Davis, writing, “Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, there will never be better friends.”
There was also a shout-out to Sarita Choudhury and Nicole Ari Parker‘s new characters, with Parker adding, “And what great fortune for Carrie to come to know and love Seema and LTW, most divine new connections.”
“Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,” she wrote. “I know others have loved her just as I have.”

Carrie Underwood responds to Nikki Glaser feud rumors

Carrie Underwood promises there is no bad blood between her and Nikki Glaser.
Last month, online chatter revved up after the comedian appeared on “American Idol” as a guest judge, with fans speculating that there was tension between Underwood and Glaser.
One fan wrote on Facebook, “Very obvious. Esp from Carrie. We have the extremes of 2 women. Carrie, no matter how talented, ever since I saw her on American idol, I pick up a really cold vibe,” according to the Daily Mail, while another wrote on X: “The tension between Carrie and Nikki is KILLING me lmaoo.”
Glaser filled in as fourth judge for the show’s first-ever Taylor Swift-themed night on April 27.
Fans were convinced that Underwood did not like sitting next to Glaser, a huge Swiftie, and that Underwood scowled whenever Glaser spoke.
The country singer, 43, dismissed the theories on Sirius XM’s “Highway Mornings with Cody Alan” earlier this week, insisting that there was “no beef” between her and Glaser, 41.
Alan mentioned fans’ reactions, suggesting that some people like stirring up trouble.
“I’m like, ‘Do you know Carrie Underwood?’ Like, she’s never going to be a mean person,” he said. “They want to cause a catfight over the smallest little thing.”
The “Before He Cheats” songstress responded by saying she’s “very used to that,” and gushed about Glaser.
“And I think she did such a great job because it’s not an easy thing to come sit behind that desk and try to think of constructive things to say,” she said. “And I don’t know, I feel like she did everything wonderfully. But no, there’s no beef. I have no beef.”
Underwood has developed a thick skin as a judge on the long-running show.
She clapped back after being booed by the “American Idol” audience during a show last March.
“Boo me. I don’t care,” the country singer wrote on X while the episode was airing.

‘Summer House’ star Ciara Miller accuses West Wilson of sleeping with ‘RHONJ’ alum Jennifer Fessler

Ciara Miller accused her ex West Wilson of sleeping with “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Jennifer Fessler after the latter defended Wilson in an interview with Page Six.
The drama recently played out on threads, where a social media user recapped what Fessler said at Vulture’s The Masterminds of Reality TV event on Thursday.
“Former RHONJ ‘friend of’ Jenn Fessler was asked by Page Six about the Summer House scandal tonight and said this about West: ‘[West] is the cutest, sweetest golden retriever puppy dog. He does not mean any harm. He didn’t mean it. He’s just trying to have a good time. He doesn’t wanna hurt anyone. Give him a break.’ Girl…”
Miller replied on the platform, “lol, because they slept together too.”
One person wrote, “Ma’am! I beg your pardon?!?! Ain’t that old lady married? Oh he got a type,” to which Miller replied, “That’s what I thought….” alongside a cartwheel emoji.
Screenshots on Instagram and X have since gone viral, and fans were stunned to see Miller’s comments.
“Ciara has entered her IDGAF stage and is about to burn this s–t to the ground!” one person remarked on Instagram, while another wrote, “I just laughed the most nervous laugh out loud.”
A third wrote, “Ciara freaking Miller 😮 hahahahahaha SAVAGE.”
Fessler — who has been married to husband Jeff Fessler since 1999 — exclusively told Page Six on Friday, “It’s flattering that anyone would think someone who slept with Ciara Miller would be interested in sleeping with me.”
Reps for Miller and Wilson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Drama erupted between the “Summer House” co-stars in March, when Wilson, 31, and Amanda Batula, 34, released a bombshell joint social media statement revealing their secret romance — in spite of West’s previous romance with ex Miller, 30, and Batula’s former friendship with her.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they wrote in a joint statement on March 31. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Miller was seen huddled outside an Hermés boutique just minutes after the statement was publicly released.
A source divulged to Page Six in April that Batula and Wilson’s co-stars, including Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke — are “pissed” and “disappointed.”
Meanwhile, Mia Alario questioned the pair’s romance timeline after they claimed they’d become involved in February.
During her appearance on “WWHL” last month, the “Southern Hospitality” star claimed she’d been on a date with Wilson in September, and that he was already spending time with Batula.
“I met Amanda at BravoCon [in November] and she actually told me that they pregamed our date at his apartment,” she told Cohen during the appearance.
“At the time, I was like, ‘Oh, you’re such a good friend. That sounds like such a good time,’” she added.
Alario also alleged that Batula told her she gave Wilson “some advice and some tips” before their date.
“I was like, girl, did we get the same tip or what? Damn. I don’t know,” Alario said, calling their relationship “a messy situation” and saying she doesn’t “want any part of that at all.”
At Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Live event last month, Alario said she wasn’t worried about Miller.
“Ciara, if she was ugly … I’d feel bad for her,” Alario quipped. “But she is one of the baddest bitches on Bravo.”

Heidi Klum worried Anna Wintour wouldn’t approve her Met Gala 2026 prosthetics

Heidi Klum brought the Halloween spirit to her Met Gala look.
Dressing as an actual marble statue — prosthetics and all — the model channeled the “Veiled Vestal,” Raffaelle Monti’s sculpture that’s currently housed in London’s Chiswick House.
Though Klum certainly took her interpretation of the dress code, “Fashion is Art,” to the next level, she revealed to The New York Times that she was concerned Anna Wintour — who has co-chaired the event since 1995 — wouldn’t appreciate her take.
“I was most worried that she won’t like it,” Klum told the publication, but revealed that she asked the Vogue head honcho herself while inside the event.
“She said yes,” the supermodel confirmed.
Much like Klum’s famed Halloween party, which sees the “Germany’s Next Top Model” host undergo a wild transformation into costume every October, “she planned the look for three months,” according to the Times.
Though “it took her five hours to get ready,” Klum admitted “it was the best her body had felt at the Met Gala.”
Confusing as that might sound, a quick glance towards the floor might explain a few things, as Klum stood in flats while much of the rest of the party teetered around in sky-high heels.
“For once, my feet don’t hurt,” she added, “wiggling her marble-like toes in flat sandals.”
Though Klum’s first Met Gala appearance was 23 years ago, this year only marked her sixth appearance at the fashion-centric event.
