‘Euphoria’ kills off Jacob Elordi’s Nate Jacobs

He’s not feeling euphoric.

Warning: Spoilers ahead! Do not proceed unless you’ve watched “Euphoria’s” seventh episode of Season 3.

“Euphoria” catapulted Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya into their current status as A-listers, and now, one has been axed from the show.

Season 3 killed Elordi’s controversial character, Nate Jacobs.

He was buried alive in a coffin, with a pipe leading to the surface so that he could breathe. A rattlesnake slithered down the pipe and bit him.

He had been placed there by Naz (Jack Topalian), the gangster he owes about a million dollars to.

Naz’s plan was to leave Nate down there (with a pipe to breathe) for 72 hours while his wife, Cassie (Sweeney) could get the money together.

Unfortunately for Nate, before 72 hours was up, a snake got him. Naz also didn’t make it out alive, as he was fatally shot by Season 3’s other gangster, Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). Cassie and Maddy (Alexa Demie) scrambled to get the money together as Nate got dug up, but they got a nasty surprise, as they were met with his dead body.

In the “inside the episode” segment at the end, Elordi said in his post-mortem interview, “It was a cool way to go, Nate is somebody who’s made so many mistakes and so many dark choices.”

First premiering in 2019, the Sam Levinson-created drama initially followed its characters in high school. Elordi, Zendaya and Sweeney were lesser known at the time.

“Euphoria changed my life,” Elordi, 28, told Variety in 2023.

“Saltburn” was the Australian star’s big-screen breakout that same year. Per Vogue Australia, his “Wuthering Heights” co-star Margot Robbie (who produced “Saltburn”) suggested him for the role at the time after watching him in “Euphoria.”

The “Frankenstein” star told GQ UK in 2023 that before landing on the HBO show, “I wasn’t booking jobs. I think I had – I don’t know, $400 or $800 left in my bank account – and ‘Euphoria’ was my last audition before I went home for a little while to make some money and recuperate.”

In the first two seasons, Nate was the show’s villain. He was a high school jock with anger issues – he manipulated, threatened and blackmailed everyone around him, choked his then-girlfriend, Maddy (Alexa Demi), and struck up a relationship with her best friend, Cassie (Sweeney).

Nate’s issues stemmed from finding his father Cal’s (Eric Dane) sex tapes at a young age.

In Season 3, which is set five years after high school, Nate had a dramatically different personality.

His rage issues inexplicably seemed vanished, his demeanor was softer and nicer and he appeared to genuinely love Cassie (instead of using her, like he was in Season 2).

Instead of being menacing, he did a goofy dance at his wedding. After he didn’t get his way in front of a board of bureucrats, rather than blackmail or threaten them, he just pathetically cried and begged.

Outraged fans criticized “Euphoria” for Nate’s inexplicable personality change and slammed it for giving the character a “lobotomy.”

Season 3 saw Nate take over his dad’s construction business, but he ran into issues when he had to stop his build because of an endangered flower – the white fritillary.

The show also revealed that he conned people into giving him money for his construction projects, including the gangster Naz.

In the third episode of Season 3, when Nate didn’t pay Naz the half a million dollars he owed him, Naz interrupted Nate and Cassie’s wedding and had him brutally beaten on his wedding night. It all culminated in Naz cutting off Nate’s toe. However, Nate later got it sewn back on.

Topalian exclusively told Page Six that Elordi did most of his own stunts during the scene where Naz’s henchmen threw Nate around.

“That’s [Elordi] really doing the struggling and the fighting and the falling and all of that,” he told us.

He called Elordi “committed,” “giving,” and “prepared,” but “between scenes, he’s back to being Jacob.”

“Obviously, he gets back into character really quickly,” he went on. “But once [the director calls ‘cut’] even though he’s been beaten and abused, he’s still having a lot of fun. He’s still cracking jokes and doing things like that.”

Elordi told Entertainment Weekly in November that his acting process was different in Season 3. He noted that he likes to “obsess over” his work, and take the time to prepare by going through “every element and construct it and put it together.”

The booked and busy actor – who was in “Frankenstein” and “Wuthering Heights” back to back – noted that he had “no time” to prepare for Season 3.

“And I didn’t have scripts in any kind of full sense. I sort of just had creative conversations with Sam, so I had no choice.”

The “Priscilla” actor also noted that he “loves” Nate, even though most fans hate him.

“I act to understand a different experience, to express an experience that’s different to my own,” said Elordi. “Playing him taught me a lot about empathy and patience, which is strange with a character like that.”

Elordi also told the outlet that Nate’s dark deeds didn’t bother him.

“It’s a real treat to be a part of that show, and to play the quote-unquote bad guy,” he said. “It’s always more fun. You don’t wanna play some morally superior, world-saving loser.”

Justin Baldoni breaks silence on shocking Blake Lively settlement

Justin Baldoni is speaking out after settling his long legal battle with Blake Lively.

In a video the “Jane the Virgin” alum posted to Instagram Wednesday, his wife, Emily, said they were feeling “immense gratitude” for those who supported them since Lively first came forward with allegations against her “It Ends With Us” director and co-star in December 2024.

Justin, 42, noted, “Gratitude has saved us.”

That said, Emily explained that any thankfulness they have for support “doesn’t negate the injustice and the pain” they’ve felt over the past few years.

“We’ve had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how can something happen like this even happen — let alone disguised as a fight for women,” she said, acknowledging “there’s been a lot of trauma” for them to “move through as a family.”

The father of two explained why they waited so long to speak out.

“There have been so many painful things spoken into existence over the last couple years,” Justin said as his wife interjected, “Untruthful.”

“And that created so much noise, and we didn’t want to add to the noise,” he continued. “So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.”

Emily chimed in, “And the truth and facts have spoken for themselves, and here we are.”

Justin said they are “healing” after going through a “traumatic” experience and expressed appreciation for fans who vocally supported them when they couldn’t speak for themselves.

“Thank you does not feel like enough,” he noted.

Justin and Lively, 38, settled their intense court battle stemming from their 2024 film “It Ends With Us” on May 4 — just two weeks before their trial was scheduled to begin.

The settlement came a month after a judge threw out 10 out of 13 of Lively’s claims, including her claim that Justin sexually harassed her.

In a joint statement to Page Six about their settlement, the two noted, “The end product — the movie ‘It Ends With Us’ — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind.”

They continued, “We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.”

Both parties added that they “remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments” and it is their “sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

Page Six confirmed that neither Lively nor Justin earned any money in their settlement.

However, both Lively and Justin’s legal teams made $60 million combined to sue and countersue one another, sources told Page Six Hollywood.

Just hours after the settlement, Lively attended the 2026 Met Gala, where she posed on the red carpet in a pastel archival Versace gown from 2006. A day later, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, also shared a carefree selfie of the two.

Justin also appeared unbothered after news of the settlement broke.

He and Emily were spotted in good spirits earlier this month in Nashville, Tennessee. The two held hands while visiting local eatery the Little Rad Market in exclusive pics obtained by Page Six.

In recent weeks, Lively demanded Justin pay more than $8 million in legal fees and spent time with her family in Upstate New York while former best friend Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce in a star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden.

A source told Page Six that Swift believes “their friendship is done” after the pop star was dragged into Lively’s legal battle with Justin.

Why Charles Barkley declined invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

Charles Barkley revealed that he turned down an invitation to attend Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s New York City wedding.

“I don’t go to weddings and funerals,” the NBA legend said on the “Unfiltered With Ricky Bo & Bill Colarulo” podcast Tuesday.

“I did get an invite, and I politely declined. Because I thought it was gonna be a crap show,” he added.

“I love Travis and Jason [Kelce]. I’ve only met Taylor one time. But yeah, I did get an invite but I said, ‘Hey, that’s just too much,’” Barkley, 63, shared.

The “Inside the NBA” host said he just wants to “hang out and play golf” in his spare time.

“I don’t wanna dress up and all that other stuff,” he said. “But I appreciate the invitation; it was pretty special.”

Barkley isn’t the only celebrity who opted to skip the Kansas City Chiefs star and the “Bad Blood” singer’s big day.

On Monday, Ryan Seacrest revealed that he actually confirmed to attend the ceremony and didn’t go.

“I RSVP’d to go, and then Disney hired me to do the Fourth of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th,” the “American Idol” host explained on his radio show. “So, I had to cancel.”

Seacrest, 51, said he felt “kind of torn” about the decision but “couldn’t have done both” due to the scheduling.

The “Shrek Forever After” voice actor said though he was “so honored and thrilled to be invited,” he “had no choice” but to skip the nuptials since “it’s part of [his] job at Disney to do these things.”

Swift and Kelce, both 36, exchanged 20-minute vows in front of more than an estimated 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden last Friday.

The wedding was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler and featured a garden theme.

The pop star and the tight end wore Christian Dior Haute Couture to say “I do” and Swift reportedly walked down the aisle to her 2008 hit song “Love Story.”

Guests won lavish prizes during the reception, including designer bags and Cartier watches.

Bunnie Xo, 46, spotted making out with 24-year-old reality star at estranged husband Jelly Roll’s bar

Bunnie Xo has moved on from her split from Jelly Roll with a much younger man.

The “Dumb Blonde” podcast host, 46, was spotted making out with “Calabasas Confidential” star Dylan Wolf, 24, on the Fourth of July in video obtained by TMZ. Interestingly enough, the pair was kissing at her estranged husband’s bar — Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee.

In the video, Bunnie and Wolf lock lips while sitting beside each other at the bar, as lights flash blue around them. According to the outlet, the two were hanging out at the rooftop’s VIP section.

On Monday, Wolf posted a cryptic TikTok video with Bunnie, writing, “@everyone thinking they’re connecting the dots” over it.

“Undeleted Pod coming soon @Bunnie Xo,” he captioned the video.

Wolf wears the same black cap reading “I love a girl from Malibu” in the TikTok video that he wears in TMZ’s video of him kissing Bunnie.

Meanwhile, fans noted that Bunnie has appeared to take down her podcast episode last month in which she talked about her surprising split from Jelly Roll, 41, after more than a decade together. The podcast is no longer available to view, though she’s made no mention of deleting it.

Wolf stars in Netflix’s new reality series, “Calabasas Confidential,” which follows children of the elite who live in the high-profile zip code. He was previously linked to Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s 28-year-old daughter, model Delilah Belle Hamlin. They were snapped holding hands in Los Angeles last November.

He told Decider in May that the two were no longer dating.

“She’s a lovely lady. That kind of just happened out of the blue over the summer, as well,” he said “We’re no longer tied together. That was just kind of short-lived. But it was great, and all the best to her and her family. They’re lovely people.”

Meanwhile, Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie in May, in Williamson County, Tennessee. Bunnie said her estranged husband was already dating again in her podcast episode last month about their split.

“He is ready — raring and ready to go,” she shared. “He’s all hopped up on testosterone, let me tell you. He’s even started dating.”

She said her ex had her full support when it comes to seeing other women.

“His DMs are open,” she told her listeners.

A source previously told Page Six that the two split due to their changing lifestyles.

“Some people around them felt there was growing tension as Jelly embraced a more faith-centered lifestyle while Bunnie continued building the outspoken and provocative brand that had always been authentic to her,” a source exclusively told us.

“Whether that’s fair or not, it became increasingly difficult to reconcile those two worlds.”
