Kody Brown found a special way to honor his late son, Garrison Brown, after his sudden death.
On the latest episode of Sister Wives, which aired on Sunday, May 18, the Brown family was making preparations for Garrison’s funeral in Wyoming. One of those preparations included Kody, 56, opting to dig Garrison’s grave.
“Here’s the thing. I talked to the sexton of the cemetery, and he’s the one that would normally dig the graves,” Kody explained to the cameras, as he was shown arriving at the grave site. “I just asked him [for] permission if I could dig it. It means something to me. I don’t know why. It’s something deeply emotional.”

He did not complete the task alone. He was joined by his brother, Scott, and brother-in-law, Tim, both of whom Kody said are a part of “the men group who nurtured” Garrison “into maturity.”
Kody didn’t bring the urn that Garrison’s remains are in, which could have helped them with measuring out the grave. But the father of 18 noted that “Mitch, my son-in-law, married to Aspyn, is making something different and I don’t know what it looks like yet.”
“For the act of effort in this, because we’re not digging a grave big enough for a coffin, I’m going to make it a little bit bigger than certainly that I need for this urn,” Kody explained. “I want the experience of doing some real effort here.”
“Just trying to honor my son as best I can. I don’t even know if it’s honor. It’s mourning,” he added.
Garrison’s grave will be beside other deceased family members, specifically, Grandma Cheryl, who Kody said “probably nurtured Garrison as much as any of us.”

“I’ve never done anything like this, digging a grave,” Kody then said. “I think this is one of the most important things I’ve ever done. It’s the last ode to my boy.”

Later, Janelle Brown revealed to the cameras that Kody — whom she separated from in 2022 — had “contacted me about being the one who does the grave.”
“I thought it was perfect,” she continued. “I think it’s symbolic and poetic and all the things to have Kody dig that hole.”
Garrison died in March 2025 at age 25. PEOPLE confirmed two months after that his death was ruled a suicide.

Justin Bieber claps back at concerns about his well-being

Justin Bieber hit back at a concerns about his well-being with a pithy response.
On May 21, a meme account shared a screenshot of a text message from somebody dubbed “Grandpa,” who wrote, “I am worried about Justin Beber [sic],” and a day later added, “There is so much heartbreak in Justin’s life.” A message reading “We all are” accompanied the photo, and the caption said, “Grandpa thought about it for 24 hours.”
Bieber, who didn’t seem amused, commented on Monday, “Worry about yourself gramps.”
Some fans reacted by backing up the pop star. “If you’re not worried, I’m not worried Mr. Bieber 🫡❤️ ily,” commented one follower, while another remarked, “TELL EM KINGGGG🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️.”
But many of the post’s responses echoed growing worries for Bieber.
“We all are grandpa, we all are 😢,” penned a follower, with another writing, “Swear I be feeling this way too, check on Justin.”
Concerns over the “Peaches” singer have been escalating in recent months, with Bieber frequently issuing cryptic social media messages in response.
On Saturday, he took to Instagram to share a carousel of awkward mirror selfies in which he made funny faces at himself.
“U could point at my flaws,” he captioned the pics. “Or u could recognize ur own lil bitch.”
“Babe. Please go get help,” responded a follower, while another wrote, “So hard and sad to watch. Why are the people around him not helping him when he’s clearly struggling. He’s not clear at all and hurting.”
On Sunday, the father of one shared two blurry black and white selfies and penned another mini-rant.
“Tired of transactional relationships,” he captioned the pair of photos. “If I have to do something to be loved That’s not love.”
Bieber, 31, was spotted behaving oddly at wife Hailey’s Rhode pop-up event back in February, kicking off an initial flurry of concern.
Though his rep denied rumors of alleged drug use and slammed them as “negative, salacious, and harmful,” Bieber has continued to post photos of his marijuana use on social media.
Meanwhile, members of the “Yummy” crooner’s inner circle have confessed they’re worried about him.
“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” a former colleague told the Hollywood Reporter in April.
“He’s lost,” they added. “There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

Patrick Mahomes Praises Wife Brittany’s ‘Powerful Confidence’ (Exclusive)

NEED TO KNOW
- Patrick Mahomes tells PEOPLE his wife Brittany “always leads with strength and purpose” as he praises her confidence in a new interview
- Brittany’s confidence “pushes” her husband to “be better every day,” he says
- The Chiefs star says he maintains his confidence by “staying committed” to goals and “trusting” himself
Patrick Mahomes is ever-inspired by his wife Brittany.
As the new face of Invisalign, the Chiefs star, 29, proclaims, “Confidence isn’t a hand out, you’ve got to build it,” in a new commercial. Away from the camera, Patrick tells PEOPLE it’s his wife Brittany who inspires him to build his confidence every day.
“I admire my wife Brittany’s confidence,” he says. “Whether it’s in business, or supporting our family, she always leads with strength and purpose. That kind of confidence is powerful; it pushes me to be better every day.”
Patrick’s confidence on the field is evident when he throws the ball, and you don’t win three Super Bowls without it, but the Chiefs star says maintaining his confidence is a daily practice for him.
“Confidence isn’t something that you just wake up with one day,” he tells PEOPLE. “It’s about staying committed to your goals, trusting yourself and the people around you and putting your best foot forward with every opportunity you get.”

The quarterback cheekily adds, “Of course, feeling good about yourself and having an awesome smile always helps too.”
When he’s not on the field, Patrick says he feels most confident when he’s with the people he’s closest to.
He shares, “Off the field, I’m probably most confident when I’m with my family and close friends. Being around the people who’ve supported me from the beginning and know me so well—that’s when I’m at my best.”
No stranger to starring in commercials at this point, Patrick says the message behind his Invisalign campaign “really resonated” with him. “Especially when it comes to the confidence I’ve built throughout my career, both on and off the field,” he adds.
The NFL MVP filmed the ad with a handful of young athletes who look up to him — which was a big reason he wanted to join up with Invisalign. “I also really enjoyed getting to meet the younger co-stars in the campaign,” he says.
“It’s always great to connect with the next generation and help inspire them to keep pushing forward. I think it’s important to pass that message on to young athletes who are working hard to find their own confidence and voice.”
And for those aspiring pro-athletes who haven’t had the chance to learn from Patrick, he says his best advice would be this: “Keep showing up every day, keep learning and keep growing,” he says. “Don’t compare your journey with anyone else’s. Focus on getting better, believe in yourself and most importantly, have fun.”

Blake Lively beams on red carpet after legal victory over Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively appeared overjoyed while stepping out for the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner following her major legal victory over Justin Baldoni.
The “Gossip Girl” alum beamed for photographers in a white crochet dress while walking the red carpet in New York City on Monday night.
She turned heads with a vintage denim jacket draped over her shoulders.
Lively, 37, accessorized with Christian Louboutin pumps and a Chanel scarab purse, along with a Chanel ring and earrings.
The actress’ appearance came after Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against her and Ryan Reynolds earlier on Monday, per court documents obtained by Page Six.
Liman also tossed the “Jane the Virgin” alum’s $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times for reporting on Lively’s initial sexual harassment complaint in December 2024.
Liman wrote that Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, “have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her [California Civil Rights Department] complaint, which are privileged.”
According to Liman, Baldoni “alleged that Reynolds and [publicist Leslie] Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the ‘Times’ made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign.”
However, “the Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the ‘Times’ would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.”
Lively’s attorneys told Page Six that they will seek “attorneys’ fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni” for his “abusive litigation.”
The “Another Simple Favor” star also spoke out about the ruling via her Instagram Story, saying she’s “more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman’s right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story.”
The actress added, “Like so many others, I’ve felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.
“While the suit against me was defeated, so many don’t have the resources to fight back.”
Baldoni’s legal team has yet to address the ruling.
The actor’s legal battle with Lively began late last year when she filed a complaint against her “It Ends With Us” co-star/director, accusing him of sexual harassment on set of their 2024 drama.
The “Shallows” star also claimed Baldoni attempted to ruin her reputation by coordinating a smear campaign.
Baldoni, however, denied the allegations and filed his countersuit in January.
