Kate Middleton and Prince William Express Condolences to Family Following Cancer Tragedy

Kate Middleton and Prince William have recently paid tribute to a pizza seller, Peter Morris, whom they met during an outing in Wales last year, following his tragic death from cancer at the age of 47. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent a heartfelt message to Peter’s widow, Tracey, expressing their condolences and sharing their fond memories of meeting him.
In a letter written on Kensington Palace notepaper, Prince William extended his sympathies to Tracey, acknowledging the immense loss she and her family must be feeling. The letter highlighted the couple’s enjoyment of meeting Peter and recognized his dedication and value to the community. It was a touching gesture that resonated deeply with Tracey and Peter’s daughters, aged 5 and 8, who will have the letter framed as a cherished keepsake.
Tracey expressed her surprise and gratitude for the royals’ compassionate gesture, noting that it meant a great deal to her and her family during such a difficult time. Reflecting on the impact of their encounter with Peter, she shared how down-to-earth and kind Kate and William were, making their letter particularly special among the many messages of support they received.
Peter’s passing was announced on the Little Dragon Pizza Van’s Instagram account, where he was remembered as a boss and friend whose passion and hard work would be dearly missed. The post served as a tribute to his legacy and commitment to the business he started in 2016, encapsulating the profound impact he had on those around him.
Interestingly, Kate Middleton herself had announced her cancer diagnosis just two months before Peter’s death, adding a poignant connection to their shared experience of facing health challenges. Peter had previously overcome oesophageal cancer, only to be diagnosed with a recurrence in his adrenal gland and liver, highlighting the harsh reality of battling this relentless disease.
The royal couple had first met Peter in April 2023 when they purchased pizzas from his van for members of the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team. This encounter showcased their genuine interest in engaging with the local community and supporting small businesses like Peter’s. The conversation even touched on their shared love of making pizzas with their own children, offering a glimpse into their down-to-earth personalities.
As the news of Peter’s passing spread, the gesture of support and remembrance from Kate and William served as a beacon of comfort and solidarity for his family and loved ones. The framed letter will stand as a poignant reminder of the connection forged between the royal couple and the pizza seller, immortalizing the genuine compassion and empathy they shared.
In times of loss and sadness, it is gestures like these that remind us of the power of kindness and human connection, transcending titles and status to reach the heart of those in need. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s tribute to Peter Morris is a testament to the enduring impact of simple acts of compassion and the profound ripple effect of empathy in the face of loss.

David and his sons looks dashing in their classic black tuxes, while Victoria, Harper, daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz and Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull all wore variations on simple but sophisticated floor-length gowns.
“So I thought I’d start celebrating slightly early , such a special night in Miami 🩷 So lucky to have amazing friends and family to start the 50th celebrations with 🩷 Love you @victoriabeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven 🩷,” he wrote in his Instagram post.
David’s Instagram stories featured even more fun photos, including one where he posed between Brady and O’Neill.
“I’m so small” the 6-foot-tall Beckham wrote sandwiched between the 6’4″ Brady and 7’1″ O’Neill.
Speaking with Men’s Health in February, David told the outlet that turning 50 later this year “doesn’t bother me one bit.”
“People are asking me about it gently, like it should be a big issue,” he continued. “It’s not something that I’m worried about, as long as I’m fit and healthy and my family are healthy, that’s all I care about.”

Victoria, 50, marked David’s 49th birthday last year with a sweet social media tribute that included wholesome family photos.

Judge rules Leah McSweeney can go after Bravo in court on allegations producers ‘coerced and harassed’ her over drink problems

A judge has ruled that Bravo star Leah McSweeney can continue to go after the network in court.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” star claimed in a bombshell February 2024 lawsuit that producers preyed on her alcohol addiction, intentionally trying to make her fall off the wagon in an attempt to make ratings-grabbing TV.
Bravo filed a motion in May to dismiss her suit.
But on Monday a judge published at 100-page ruling that dismisses parts of the suit but allows her to keep much of her case in tact, including the crux of her case: that “producers directly coerced and harassed [her] based on her [addiction].”
Judge Lewis Liman agreed with the producers’ oral arguments — which they made in a New York court in November — that they had a First Amendment right to demand that stars of the famously booze-soaked flagship show drink alcohol while making the show since “it is not incidental but central to the show’s message that the drinking activities it portrays are authentic and genuine.”
But Judge Liman said she can continue to sue Bravo over how they treated her drinking issues.
The judged noted that McSweeney alleged that the producers “joked about [her] drinking issues in her presence despite her requests that they stop, taunted her about her alcohol use disorder and tried to undermine her sobriety through harassing comments, directed other cast members to bring up [her] mental health and substance abuse issues and to call [her] a drug addict, and coached fellow cast members to further disparage [her].”
He said they’ll have to answer for those allegations.
He also rules that she can continue to sue over allegations that — while she was preparing to appear on “RHONY” spin-off “Ultimate Girls Trip” — producers told McSweeney that she would be able to go to AA during the shoot, but changed their minds once they were on location.
Liman wrote: “Her request to attend an AA meeting could have been accommodated without unreasonable hardship or expense.”
Both sides will now begin demanding each other’s private records, texts and emails and will request under-oath interviews.
McSweeney’s attorney, Gary Adelman of Adelman Matz, told Page Six: “We thank the Judge for his care in his 100 page decision that kept the majority of the major claims against the defendants and continues to give full life to Leah’s lawsuit and another step closer to holding the defendants accountable.”
He added: “While we disagree with his findings on the minor claims and will certainly be filing an amended complaint to address his questions, this decision is not a scorecard, it was an affirmation that there are serious claims and that they will proceed in Court.”
McSweeney appeared on the show from 2021-2022.
Bravo didn’t immediately respond to our request for comment.

Gene Hackman’s Mother-in-Law Asks Court to Block Release of Footage of Bodies

- Gene and Betsy Hackman’s bodies were discovered in their New Mexico home on Wednesday, Feb. 26
- Both Gene and Betsy Hackman’s names were recently removed a list of “unclaimed decedents” on the New Mexico’s Office of the Medical Investigator website
- Betsy Hackman’s mother is requesting that any videos or images of her deceased daughter not be released to the public or media
Betsy Hackman’s mother is opposing the release of police bodycam footage that would show her daughter and Gene Hackman’s dead bodies.
In court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Monday, March 31, Yoshie Feaster shared in a statement that since the death of her daughter and son-in-law, “the significant media coverage surrounding the circumstances of her passing have forced me to relive the experience of her untimely death, repeatedly.”
Feaster continued that media outlets have been seeking to access photographs and videos of her daughter’s body from the New Mexico’s Office of the Medical Investigator.
“I humbly come before this court to request that this court respect my right to grieve in peace and find that I have a constitutional right to avoid seeing images of my daughter’s home, her dead body, her husband’s dead body, and their dog’s corpse. The public spectacle surrounding my daughter’s death is one that no parent should have to live through,” Feaster said in her statement.
“I believe a parent’s right to choose how to care for a child during their life should reasonably extend to a parent’s decision in dealing with a child’s death,” Feaster said. “This right should extend to protect against the release of the autopsy photos and autopsy reports of my daughter. This right should extend to permit me to control the physical remains of my daughter, her memory, and images of her deceased body; including, but not limited to, images demonstrating how my daughter was residing during her final days.”
Betsy’s mother expressed concerns over how released images of her late daughter could end up online, on television, and be discussed on the radio and on podcasts.
“No reasonable person could avoid seeing or hearing these images and videos. Undoubtedly, I would be forced to relive and face my daughter’s last few days, a countless number of times,” Feaster said. “Society should respect not only its dead, but the family who are left behind to grieve their lost loved one.”
Feaster concluded her statement by expressing that she cannot “imagine the magnitude of trauma” she would face should images be released.

On Monday, a New Mexico judge ruled that video, audio and photos that fall under New Mexico public records law can be released in connection to the deaths of Gene and Betsy, but that their bodies cannot be shown. The bodies must be blurred or edited out, ruled Judge Matthew Wilson.

Gene, 95, and his wife, classical pianist Betsy, 65, were found dead at their home along with their dog, a kelpie mix named Zinna, in Santa Fe Summit on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
The causes of Gene and Betsy’s deaths were revealed weeks later, in March. The pianist died from hantavirus, a flu-like virus linked to rodent droppings, while her actor husband died a week later from a combination of severe heart disease, high blood pressure and advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
Zinna likely died of dehydration and starvation, Santa Fe County animal control previously revealed.
The couples’ names were removed a list of “unclaimed decedents” on the New Mexico’s Office of the Medical Investigator website.
According to the website, the office defines “unclaimed decedent” as “people who have been identified, where Next-of-Kin has not been located.”

A representative for the medical examiner’s office explained even though a name may appear on that list, “in many cases, OMI is in contact with legal next of kin, and plans are underway to transport the body to a funeral home or place of burial.”
The rep declined to comment further on whether the bodies have been claimed by the Hackmans’ family.
Before their death, the couple had been living a private life since Gene retired from acting. They were last pictured together during a rare outing on March 28, 2024.
