Woman Accuses Her Husband’s ‘Work Wife’ of Ruining Their Marriage

The old saying goes, “Happy wife, happy life,” but one upset woman is claiming her husband isn’t quite living by that mantra.
Amy, 31, revealed on Reddit’s “TrueOffMyChest” forum on Feb. 9 that she’s at her “wit’s end” with her husband, 32, his “work wife,” 30 and “his complete inability to see what’s happening” among the three of them.
“I need to know if I’m going crazy here,” she wrote. “Where do I even start? Three years ago, my husband Mark started working with Sarah. At first, I tried to be welcoming. I invited her to our BBQs, included her in group outings and genuinely tried to be friendly.”
“Big mistake,” Amy emphasized, before recalling, “She spent the entire time making backhanded comments about everything from my career (‘Oh, you’re just a yoga instructor? How … peaceful.’) to my cooking (‘I guess not everyone can master basic seasoning.’).”
More recently, in January, Amy noticed an anniversary mug she gifted her husband was no longer at his work desk when she visited his office.

Amy’s husband told her that Sarah had “accidentally” knocked it over, causing the mug to break, so he threw it away.
“When I got upset, Mark said I was being too sensitive,” Amy remembered, adding, “IT WAS A MUG WITH OUR WEDDING PHOTO ON IT.”
She noted Mark said Sarah didn’t think the mug “fit the office aesthetic.”
The wife wrote that “the real problem” is he thinks Sarah is “just being funny.”
Listing some of Sarah’s “greatest hits” that have irked her, Amy wrote: “She scheduled a ‘mandatory’ work dinner on our anniversary. She convinced Mark not to take a promotion because it would mean working with a different team.” Continuing, she added, “She posts daily photos of them together with hashtags like #WorkPowerCouple and #WorkSpouse. She tells everyone at their office that she takes better care of him than I do. She changed his coffee order and now tells everyone she ‘trained him right.’ ”
“The worst part? My husband is completely blind to all of this,” the wife explained. “Yesterday, he actually told me about how Sarah said our new house (which we spent months searching for) was ‘charming, in a starter home kind of way.’ He repeated this while LAUGHING.”
In response, Amy said Sarah described her as “just insecure.”
“She’s managed to insert herself into every aspect of our lives. They text constantly — even on weekends,” the wife wrote. “She knows his schedule better than I do. She rearranged his entire desk and office wardrobe because his style was ‘too suburban husband.’ THAT’S WHAT HE IS!”

Recently, Amy recommended marriage counseling to her husband.
“He looked genuinely confused,” she recalled. ”He of course went and talked to Sarah about it. I found out from another coworker that she’s been telling people that Mark and I are ‘going through a rough patch’ and that she’s ‘just being a good friend by giving him someone to talk to.’ We weren’t going through anything until she started this nonsense!”

Amy added that she reached her “breaking point” during a recent office visit.
“I stopped by his office to surprise him with lunch (it was his birthday and Sarah was supposedly out sick),” she wrote. “Guess who was there? Sarah. She’d ‘miraculously recovered’ and bought him a cake that said, ‘To my work hubby,’ with a photo of them from the office holiday party.”
“She saw me and said, ‘Oh, Amy! You came too … how nice. Mark, you didn’t tell me your real wife was coming!’ I’m not crazy, right?” Amy wondered. “This woman is trying to destroy my marriage while my husband stands there grinning like it’s all some big joke.”
Seeking outside opinions, Amy then asked the Reddit forum, “What do I do? Divorce seems extreme, but I’m running out of options here.“
Within 24 hours of sharing her story, the post garnered nearly 2,000 responses, with commenters providing advice on what she should do next.
“There is always going to be women like this out there. It’s how your husband reacts that is the problem,” one person replied. “His blatant and constant disrespect is totally unacceptable and the fact that he’s ignoring your feelings on this means you need to now make him see how serious you are. If you don’t change up how you’re reacting and show him you mean business, he’s not changing at this point.”
A second reader noted that “Sarah is not the problem” and that “your husband doesn’t respect your vows or you.”
Another Redditor concluded, “You’d be right to offer a final ultimatum, but honestly if it’s coming to that, just chose yourself first. You deserve better. It’ll be hard but you won’t have these shitty feelings.”

Noah Wyle Reveals Which ‘ER’ Castmate He’s Reuniting with Soon

Noah Wyle is back in the hospital on Max’s The Pitt, and if he has his way, some of his ER castmates will be joining him soon.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a video posted March 20, Wyle, 53, said of the cast of his old NBC medical drama, “We all do keep in touch.” Wyle starred as Dr. John Carter on the show beginning in 1994. He left after the show’s eleventh season but returned for episodes in seasons 12 and 15 (the latter being the show’s final). Other original cast members included Anthony Edwards as Dr. Mark Greene, George Clooney as Dr. Doug Ross, Eriq La Salle as Dr. Peter Benton and Julianna Margulies as Nurse Carol Hathaway.

Wyle also revealed that he’s going to see one of his castmates very soon. “I’m about to go to New York in a couple of weeks and cheer on Mr. Clooney in his Broadway debut, as a matter of fact,” he explained. Clooney, 63, currently stars in Good Night, and Good Luck, an adaptation of the 2005 movie he directed of the same name. The movie received six Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director.
As for any of the ER castmates showing up on The Pitt, Wyle said, “The chance to work together again is something we always look forward to.”
On The Pitt, which premiered on Jan. 9, Wyle plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, a senior attending who leads a shift in a Pittsburgh hospital’s emergency room. The show takes place over just one day, with each episode of the show lining up with an hour of the doctors’ and nurses’ shifts. The breakout series also stars Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Taylor Dearden (the daughter of actor Brian Cranston). The show also taps a flurry of guest stars to bring the hospital’s patients to life.
Wyle, who also works as a writer on the series, told PEOPLE earlier this month that joining a medical show again “was like getting to go back to high school.” He explained, “It was like picking up an instrument that I haven’t played in 15 years and finding that my fingers still knew where the notes were.”

But the actor admitted he “didn’t want to do anything in this [medical genre] for the longest time, for obvious reasons.” He changed his mind because The Pitt “was an opportunity to shine the spotlight back on the first responders who really need it right now.” He called the show “a vehicle for people to go on a journey and get a new look at what hospitals are like and what healthcare is like these days.”
“I really wanted this show to happen. I wanted to put this on the air, and I knew this was an important story to tell,” explained Wyle, who — in addition to actor and writer on the show — is also an executive producer. “I don’t know that I’ve ever really forced myself to leave my comfort zone and act as aggressively and pursue something as I have with this. This was extremely important to me and I surprised myself with how far I was willing to go to make it happen and how hard I was willing to work.”

‘White Lotus’ star Walton Goggins shares his favorite fashion and skincare finds

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
Walton Goggins has an eye for style.
You may know him as a “White Lotus” zaddy, a firebrand televangelist on “The Righteous Gemstones,” or the ruthless Ghoul from Prime Video’s “Fallout” — but offscreen, the dapper actor flexes serious entrepreneurial and fashion skills. Just don’t ask him about snakes (one got bitey while filming that scene in Thailand).
When not starring in concurrent HBO hits, the “White Lotus” favorite is also a co-founder of the award-winning craft distillery Mulholland Distilling. And he’s the brains behind Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses. Debuted in November 2024, the unisex sunglass brand has become a TikTok phenom and a coveted accessory at Page Six HQ.
Below, Goggins shares some of his fashion, skincare and home essentials with Page Six Style, including a luxurious face wash, “perfect” button-up and the pillow that ensures he gets quality shut-eye every night.

“I met the owners of Giuliva Heritage, Gerardo and Margherita, while traveling in Rome. Their designs are effortless and cool. When you’re wearing them, you feel like you’re on a vacation that never ends. The Teo sweater is one of my favorites.”

“Becoming the Ghoul on ‘Fallout’ is very difficult on my skin. I was looking for something that would clean and revitalize at the same time. A makeup artist suggested this. It has made all the difference.”

“I love being a business owner. Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses are a fashion statement! They are a visual representation of what’s possible with GoDaddy Airo. Anyone with a big idea, like these delicious shades, can make their vision a reality too.”

“A white button-down is a staple in my wardrobe. I don’t like to wear shirts that are pressed. The more you wash it, the more lived-in it gets. The Ludlow Premium is the perfect shirt to do that with.”

“I spend so much time in hotels and I am always looking for the perfect pillow, trying to replicate the good night’s sleep at home while on the road. I was staying at one particular place and had one of the best night’s sleeps I’d ever had. I asked the hotel to find out who made these pillows. It turns out they’re located in Brooklyn! I bought them and now sleep like a king.”

“I’ve been obsessed with Hoorsenbuhs jewelry for a long time. Robert, the owner, built his whole company on this one design. It feels timeless to me.”

Michelle Monaghan Dishes on Her Self-Tanning Routine for ‘The White Lotus’ (Exclusive)

Michelle Monaghan was committed to her role in The White Lotus.
At a recent New York City event celebrating her as U Beauty’s first-ever brand ambassador, the actress, 48, shared the methodical beauty routine she implemented for her character Jaclyn. On season 3 of the hit HBO series, Monaghan plays a TV star on a girls’ trip at The White Lotus resort in Thailand.
In order to maintain Jaclyn’s tropical, effortlessly glam look throughout months of shooting, the actress self-tanned weekly.
“I committed to it every Sunday,” she tells PEOPLE. “So everybody’s like, ‘We’re going to go down to the beach and for a swim.’ And I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ Instead, I was putting on the self-tanner and waiting for it to dry for six or seven hours because it was so humid.”

She continues, “And it became this ongoing joke that they just knew. They’re like, ‘Oh, don’t bother asking Michelle. She’s doing her tan.'”
Monaghan adds that the tanning process helped her to get into character.
“But once I put that tan on and then that blonde hair and I felt like I was inhabiting a very specific character,” she explains. “And then she wore a very bright pink coral-y nail polish that we would have to do once every week or two.”

“I loved being blonde so much and I was nervous because I am a brunette,” she says her blonde hair transformation on the show. “I knew that [series creator] Mike [White] really wanted me to be blonde. And I was like, ‘Of course I’ll do whatever you want.’ But I was worried because I knew that I was going to have to go back to being brunette for a film afterwards.”
Like her tan, Monaghan’s blonde locks required rigorous maintenance. So, celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham took several trips to Thailand, where the season was filmed, to keep Monaghan’s color in tip-top shape during shooting.
The White Lotus season 3 also stars Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb and Walton Goggins, as well Natasha Rothwell, who is reprising her season 1 role as spa manager Belinda Lindsey.
