Legendary comedy writer Bruce Vilanch describes wild NSFW moment on set of ‘The Brady Bunch Hour’ in upcoming memoir

Legendary comedy scribe Bruce Vilanch is renowned as the go-to for award shows but he’s also been involved with some deliciously campy specials and movies.
The Emmy winner recounts them in his predictably hilarious upcoming memoir, “It Seemed Like a Bad Idea at the Time.”
One NSFW moment occurred on the set of “The Brady Bunch Hour,” a short-lived shlock-fest that ran for a few episodes in 1976-77.
Vilanch remembers that the squeaky clean Donny and Marie Osmond were guest-starring and due to their massive popularity, the sibs had doubles to fool over-enthusiastic fans.
One day, Marie’s agent, an up-and-comer named Mike Ovitz visited with three other reps.
Marie’s double, who was a dead-ringer for the perky singer, went up to Ovitz to chat after conferring with a wicked comedy writer.

After introductions, she sweetly told Ovitz, as a prank, according to the book: “I would like you to come to my dressing room,” to, shall we say, engage in a sex act that can’t be described in a family newspaper.
There was “stunned silence… everyone just froze… then the dime dropped and everyone got it at once.” Vilanch calls it the “single most hilarious and obscene example of what can happen when preparation meets opportunity.”
The “Hollywood Squares” alum also remembers “Brady Bunch” mom Florence Henderson as “a much more colorful mother than Carol Brady” who would occasionally unleash “a small repertoire of dirty jokes which she liked to surprise the unsuspecting.”
The Post’s Nicki Gostin reports that Vilanch writes in the book that he worked on the infamous 1989 Oscar ceremony featuring that awful Rob Lowe opening number.
Vilanch swears he had nothing to do with it, and voiced his concerns to the show’s producer, who flitted away any dissent.
The jokester also gleefully dissects his time working on the Village People movie “You Can’t Stop the Music,” and more.

Sabrina Carpenter Hugs Taylor Swift in BTS Photo from the 2025 Grammys

Sabrina Carpenter is sharing some “short n’ sweet” moments with Taylor Swift at the 2025 Grammys.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Feb. 7, the “Espresso” singer, 25, gave fans an inside look at her night at the music awards show, which took place on Feb. 2, and its afterparty, where she celebrated with the “So High School” singer, 35, and Jack Antonoff, who produced both their albums.
Among the several photos that Carpenter included in the carousel was a black-and-white snap of herself getting a big hug from Swift, who could be seen in a sparkly silver minidress and black blazer as they sat together on a couch. On the other side of the pop star, Antonoff, 40, gazed at the camera.
In another picture, the three could be seen hanging out with some friends. Swift sipped a drink in one hand while holding another in her other hand. Meanwhile, Antonoff appeared to chat with a friend and his wife, Margaret Qualley. Carpenter rested her head on her hand while wearing a furry coat.
“film from Sunday :),” Carpenter captioned the photos, which also showed her and Qualley, 30, doing the actress’ signature lip bite and celebrating with other Grammy winners including Beyoncé and Chappell Roan.
Within the carousel, Carpenter also showed off more angles of her baby blue halter gown, detailed with a peplum and a floor-grazing skirt hem covered in plumes. Her glam Grammys look also featured a 50-carat, brilliant-cut gemstone from Chopard’s Garden of Kalahari collection.

The night was a triumph for Carpenter, as she took home two Grammys — for best pop solo performance for “Espresso” and best pop vocal album for Short n’ Sweet. During her speech accepting the latter award, she told the audience, “I’m still out of breath from the performance, so I really was not expecting this.”

“And all those nominees that were just on the screen are some of my favorite artists in the world, and I can’t believe I’m nominated against them, or even in this room right now,” she continued. “This is whoa — my first Grammy, so I’m gonna cry.”
“You have no idea how much I love you and how much this album means to me,” Carpenter added, before ending her speech with, “Thank you, holy s—. Bye.”
Carpenter reunited with Olivia Rodrigo, 21, at the big event, and they were seen embracing in a fan video shared on X. The friendly moment came years after the two singers were involved in a reported love triangle with Joshua Bassett dating back to their Disney Channel days.
As for Swift and Carpenter, the pair have been friends for years, and the “Please, Please, Please” songstress even joined Swift on the road for some of her international Eras Tour dates last year. The two have exchanged several praises since then, with Carpenter calling the 14-time Grammy winner a “rock star” in an interview with Variety, and Swift describing Carpenter “as real as they come” onstage.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce go on double date with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes ahead of Super Bowl 2025

Taylor Swift has officially arrived in New Orleans!
The singer was spotted holding hands with boyfriend Travis Kelce after the two enjoyed “an intimate dinner” with pals Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes, according to a video shared by Nola News.
The foursome were at Lilette — a French restaurant dubbed one of the “sexiest” establishments in New Orleans — for a few hours and reportedly had dinner in a private room.
“A crowd of a few dozen people had gathered outside, cheering and taking videos as they left just after 10 p.m.,” reports Nola News.
Swift, 35, was seen wearing a black lace dress and boots for the outing, while Kelce, also 35, sported a comfortable gray tracksuit and sneakers.
Patrick, 29, followed suit with a casual outfit of his own. He wore a jacket, denim pants, white sneakers and a matching backwards hat.
Brittany, meanwhile, was already in team spirit, wearing a Chiefs red coat that she styled with an up-do.
The influencer, 29, just welcomed her third child with her quarterback husband, a baby girl named Golden Raye, last month. Patrick said at a press conference this week that his newborn will be at the Super Bowl.
Swift also made her way to Louisiana to cheer on Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl 2025 at Caesars Superdome this weekend.
This is the second Super Bowl that the billionaire musician will attend during her nearly two-year-long relationship with the NFL star.
Last year, Swift attended the big game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev., where the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22.
The Grammy winner watched Kelce from a VIP suite alongside several of her A-list pals, including Blake Lively.
