Dorit Kemsley reveals that her marriage struggles with PK escalated dramatically before he stopped drinking, referring to it as ‘all-time bad’.
Dorit Kemsley has recently shared insights into the struggles in her marriage with her husband, PK Kemsley. During the second part of the Season 13 “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion, Dorit revealed that their issues were exacerbated by alcohol consumption.
After filming wrapped, Dorit confessed that things started to deteriorate, leading to what she described as an “all-time bad” phase in their relationship. The couple faced challenges due to PK’s frequent traveling and Dorit’s PTSD following a harrowing armed home invasion in 2021.
They found themselves at odds, with PK even staying at a hotel as they tried to navigate the rocky waters in their marriage. Dorit pointed out that PK’s drinking habits played a significant role in their struggles, making it difficult to have meaningful conversations when he was intoxicated. As a result, PK decided to give up drinking, and at the time of filming, he had been sober for 49 days.
Despite the tough times, Dorit mentioned that they are actively working through their issues, and PK is now in a better place than ever. She described his decision to stop drinking as a pivotal moment in their relationship, and they are currently in a good place, focusing on moving forward together.
However, recent sightings of PK without his wedding ring raised speculation about the state of their marriage. The couple has previously addressed rumors of a separation, with Dorit expressing feelings of disconnect and questioning what the future holds if they can’t support each other.
Their struggles have played out both on-camera and off, with the couple engaging in heated discussions about Dorit’s PTSD and their evolving dynamic over the years. Despite their challenges, the pair, who tied the knot in 2015, continue to work on their relationship and are committed to overcoming their marriage woes.
As they navigate the complexities of their personal lives and the scrutiny of being in the public eye, Dorit and PK are determined to strengthen their bond and build a more resilient partnership. Through open communication, mutual understanding, and a shared commitment to growth, they aim to weather the storms and emerge stronger together.
