Le’Veon Bell Ordered to Pay $25M After Cousin’s Sex Abuse Claim

Le’Veon Bell was ordered to pay $25 million after his cousin filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against him in March 2024, but he claims he just found out about the case.
According to a complaint obtained by PEOPLE, the former NFL star, along with his brother, La’Vonte Bell, are accused of engaging in “ongoing incestual relations” with his cousin when she was “six to seven years old” that continued “through at least 2017.”
The complaint alleges that Le’Veon “continuously engaged in these encounters throughout Plaintiff’s minority,” including “during his frequent returns to central Ohio during his college years and beyond.”
“None of these encounters were consensual and they happened with such frequency to habitualize Plaintiff to the abuse,” the complaint alleges, claiming that his cousin “suffered extreme and ongoing mental anguish and distress” as a result.

Per court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, in October 2024, a judge issued a default judgment request for a jury trial to determine damages.
After a February hearing, Le’Veon was ordered to pay $20 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. La’Vonte was ordered to pay $11 million in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages.
“My client adamantly denies any and all allegations that have been lodged against him. Further, he was never served with a civil complaint or any documents,” Le’Veon’s attorney, Thomas W. Shaffer, said in a statement to TMZ on Tuesday.
“The default judgment granted was based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served,” the statement continued. “My client is in the process of filing a motion to open and reverse the default judgment because the merits of the case have never been litigated.”
In a Twitch stream on Tuesday, March 11, Le’Veon confirmed that Jada is his cousin but denied the allegations, per TMZ. “I just found out this was brewing up maybe about two days ago,” Le’Veon said.

“Do y’all think Le’Veon Bell, do I need to force myself upon a woman? Anybody? Do I need to force myself upon them? I don’t,” the former football star said.
“I put this on my life. I put this on all my kids life, my mom’s life, I put this on everything, I never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever pushed myself on a girl when she ain’t want that s—. Never,” Le’Veon said. “I’ve never forced myself on nobody. I got my pick of the litter.”

“We believe that Le’Veon Bell was properly served with this lawsuit under Ohio law. Further, our client stands by the allegations in her lawsuit,” John Camillus, an attorney for Bell’s cousin, told PEOPLE, later adding, “We look forward to continuing to fight for our client in whatever way the case demands going forward.”

‘White Lotus’ star Walton Goggins shares his favorite fashion and skincare finds

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
Walton Goggins has an eye for style.
You may know him as a “White Lotus” zaddy, a firebrand televangelist on “The Righteous Gemstones,” or the ruthless Ghoul from Prime Video’s “Fallout” — but offscreen, the dapper actor flexes serious entrepreneurial and fashion skills. Just don’t ask him about snakes (one got bitey while filming that scene in Thailand).
When not starring in concurrent HBO hits, the “White Lotus” favorite is also a co-founder of the award-winning craft distillery Mulholland Distilling. And he’s the brains behind Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses. Debuted in November 2024, the unisex sunglass brand has become a TikTok phenom and a coveted accessory at Page Six HQ.
Below, Goggins shares some of his fashion, skincare and home essentials with Page Six Style, including a luxurious face wash, “perfect” button-up and the pillow that ensures he gets quality shut-eye every night.

“I met the owners of Giuliva Heritage, Gerardo and Margherita, while traveling in Rome. Their designs are effortless and cool. When you’re wearing them, you feel like you’re on a vacation that never ends. The Teo sweater is one of my favorites.”

“Becoming the Ghoul on ‘Fallout’ is very difficult on my skin. I was looking for something that would clean and revitalize at the same time. A makeup artist suggested this. It has made all the difference.”

“I love being a business owner. Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses are a fashion statement! They are a visual representation of what’s possible with GoDaddy Airo. Anyone with a big idea, like these delicious shades, can make their vision a reality too.”

“A white button-down is a staple in my wardrobe. I don’t like to wear shirts that are pressed. The more you wash it, the more lived-in it gets. The Ludlow Premium is the perfect shirt to do that with.”

“I spend so much time in hotels and I am always looking for the perfect pillow, trying to replicate the good night’s sleep at home while on the road. I was staying at one particular place and had one of the best night’s sleeps I’d ever had. I asked the hotel to find out who made these pillows. It turns out they’re located in Brooklyn! I bought them and now sleep like a king.”

“I’ve been obsessed with Hoorsenbuhs jewelry for a long time. Robert, the owner, built his whole company on this one design. It feels timeless to me.”

Michelle Monaghan Dishes on Her Self-Tanning Routine for ‘The White Lotus’ (Exclusive)

Michelle Monaghan was committed to her role in The White Lotus.
At a recent New York City event celebrating her as U Beauty’s first-ever brand ambassador, the actress, 48, shared the methodical beauty routine she implemented for her character Jaclyn. On season 3 of the hit HBO series, Monaghan plays a TV star on a girls’ trip at The White Lotus resort in Thailand.
In order to maintain Jaclyn’s tropical, effortlessly glam look throughout months of shooting, the actress self-tanned weekly.
“I committed to it every Sunday,” she tells PEOPLE. “So everybody’s like, ‘We’re going to go down to the beach and for a swim.’ And I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ Instead, I was putting on the self-tanner and waiting for it to dry for six or seven hours because it was so humid.”

She continues, “And it became this ongoing joke that they just knew. They’re like, ‘Oh, don’t bother asking Michelle. She’s doing her tan.'”
Monaghan adds that the tanning process helped her to get into character.
“But once I put that tan on and then that blonde hair and I felt like I was inhabiting a very specific character,” she explains. “And then she wore a very bright pink coral-y nail polish that we would have to do once every week or two.”

“I loved being blonde so much and I was nervous because I am a brunette,” she says her blonde hair transformation on the show. “I knew that [series creator] Mike [White] really wanted me to be blonde. And I was like, ‘Of course I’ll do whatever you want.’ But I was worried because I knew that I was going to have to go back to being brunette for a film afterwards.”
Like her tan, Monaghan’s blonde locks required rigorous maintenance. So, celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham took several trips to Thailand, where the season was filmed, to keep Monaghan’s color in tip-top shape during shooting.
The White Lotus season 3 also stars Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb and Walton Goggins, as well Natasha Rothwell, who is reprising her season 1 role as spa manager Belinda Lindsey.

Selena Gomez lusts after Benny Blanco on ‘I Said I Love You First’: review

Music review
I Said I Love You First
Selena Gomez is hot for Benny Blanco — and she’s not afraid to moan it.
On their new joint album, “I Said I Love You First” (out Friday), the pop star lusts after her music producer fiancé, shedding any remnants of her good-girl image as a former Disney darling while chronicling the couple’s nearly two-year love story.
After a sappy, spoken-word introduction thanking her support system, a pre-Blanco Gomez finds herself brokenhearted on “Young and Hotter Than Me,” a plaintive Lana Del Rey-esque piano ballad about a philandering ex she wishes she “never loved” (ahem, Justin Bieber).
And yet, nature takes its course and Gomez, 32, ends up falling back into bed with her former boyfriend “one last time” on the mostly Spanish-language mesmerizer “Ojos Tristes” before Blanco, 37, enters the picture.
“Now I found another hand to hold,” she declares on the boppy kiss-off “Don’t Wanna Cry,” a career highlight and early contender for song of the summer.
Gomez and Blanco get hot and heavy quickly, with the tongue-in-cheek “Sunset Blvd” documenting their carnal first date.
“I can’t wait to hold it, to hold that / Big, big / Hard …,” she chants before pausing for suspense then finally shouting, “Heart!” (Thank God.)
Evidently, the date ended well because Gomez gets even friskier with Blanco on “Cowboy,” a breathy ditty about riding him like a, well, you get the picture, and “Bluest Flame,” an overly AutoTuned, Charli XCX-influenced mishmash in which the lovebirds “go all night.”
Gomez finds Blanco so magnetic, in fact, that she claims to have effortlessly wiped any lingering memories of her “embarrassing” past love on the savage slow burn “How Does It Feel to Be Forgotten.”
By “I Can’t Get Enough,” the pair are so intoxicated with each other that they feel like the only two people in the world (and perhaps the only two who can stand the song’s maddening hook).
“I Said I Love You First” allows Gomez — who last released an album in 2020 — to take center stage again as a pop princess, while Blanco stays in the background and focuses on the project’s sometimes stellar, other times chaotic production.
The Grammy nominees close the curtain on a vulnerable note, with Gomez telling Blanco on the voicemail-like “Scared of Loving You” that breaking up would destroy her.
It’s a good thing these two were made for each other, then.
