NEED TO KNOW
- Kody Brown spoke about his ex wife Christine’s new husband, David Woolley, on Sister Wives on Sunday, June 1
- Christine and David tied the knot in October 2023 after announcing her separation from Kody in November 2021
- “I’ve had conversations with David since that just was kind of like, [I] enjoyed his company,” he said
Kody Brown is actually quite fond of ex-wife Christine Brown‘s new husband David Woolley.
On the latest installment of Sister Wives: One on One, airing on June 1, Kody reflected on the moment he was first introduced to David before he became Christine’s spouse. The Brown family patriarch, who is currently only married to Robyn Brown after their plural marriage ended, noted that David is “great” and that he’s “probably a decent person.”
Host Sukanya Krishnan then asked whether Kody, 56, wanted “to have a relationship” with Christine and David, saying: “Did you see yourself possibly go out on a double date in a couple of years and get to know each other?”
Kody had a surprising answer.
“I don’t know. I think personally, I think I’m very forgiving and I think that’d be really easy for me,” Kody explained. “Here’s the thing. I’ve had conversations with David since that just was kind of like [I] enjoyed his company and, I had a dirty thought. I thought David and I should go on a guy’s trip together. And then I went, no, that would just be so uncool to Christine.”
“I just thought that would absolutely not be fair in any way,” he added.

Even more shocking, Christine said in her own interview with One on One host Sukanya: “In a whole other world and universe, I thought it would be nice if, you know, Kody and David could get along and just be buddies.”
Noting how Kody expressed a similar sentiment, Sukanya also revealed Kody’s guy trip idea to the couple, who wed in October 2023.
“We could do that,” David said, while Christine responded, “You’d have a good time!”

David said that for that to happen, there would be “rules” that needed to be changed, but said that’s “between Kody and I.”
Christine then said she’d go on a double date with Kody and Robyn “in the future,” but “right now, no.”

“Honestly, I’d have to talk a lot about it beforehand,” she said. “I’d be a mess before. I’d be like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t know if I can do this.’ And David would be like, ‘It’s going to be OK, you’re going to be fine. I’m here. I got you.’ I have a lot of nervousness about that, and a lot of nervousness about being around them right now.”
Christine’s “nervousness” to be around them stems from the fact that Kody “doesn’t know who I am.” She added, “I don’t like what he says about me.”
Kody, too, has his reservations about it all as well. He pointed out how the exes are “not talking,” and he’s unsure if they’re gonna be able to fix it.
“You know, we just haven’t healed that much,” he said, with the host noting that coming face-to-face with Christine could be beneficial to getting them on better terms.
“Maybe. Yeah, maybe not,” he said. ” … Christine’s very undermining.”

Jerry Seinfeld claims ‘Friends’ copied his sitcom ‘Seinfeld’

Jerry Seinfeld thew a little shade at “Friends” during at the 2026 Netflix Is a Joke Festival, claiming the show was inspired by his own iconic sitcom, “Seinfeld.”
The comedian made the comment during his set at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles Tuesday during a bit in which he asked the audience to guess what his all-time favorite show was, per the Hollywood Reporter.
When an audience member shouted out “Friends,” Seinfeld said he had a theory about the comedy starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry.
“My show [‘Seinfled’] came on — ’89, ’90. ‘Friends’ came on a few years later,” he noted.
“I think NBC was watching my show and went, ‘Hey, this is working pretty well. Why don’t we try the same thing with good-looking people?’ And that was a pretty good idea,” he continued. “I think that kind of worked.”
“Seinfeld” — which starred the titular comedian as well as Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander — premiered on NBC in 1989 and ran for nine seasons.
“Friends” debuted in 1994 and aired for 10 seasons on NBC.
Both shows revolved around a close group of friends living in New York City, though “Friends” was story and character-centric while “Seinfeld” was famously dubbed a “show about nothing” by Seinfeld himself and co-creator Larry David.
This isn’t the first time Seinfeld has taken credit for the success of “Friends.”
Kudrow told the Daily Beast in 2022 that Seinfeld once walked up to her at a party in the ’90s and told her “you’re welcome,” as “Friends” had been put on NBC’s schedule right after ratings juggernaut “Seinfeld.”
Last month, Kudrow revealed the “Friends” cast still gets a whopping $20 million a year from residuals, more than two decades after the hit sitcom came to an end in 2004.
But she noted in the same interview that their experience filming wasn’t always positive, and that “there was definitely mean stuff going on behind the scenes.”
“Don’t forget we were recording in front of a live audience of 400, and if you messed up one of these writers’ lines or it didn’t get the perfect response, they could be like, ‘Can’t the bitch f–king read? She’s not even trying. She f–ed up my line,’” she recalled to the Times of London.
Kudrow also claimed that the writers’ room, which was composed of mostly men, would “be up late discussing their sexual fantasies” about Aniston and Cox. She recalled the time as “intense.”

Kylie Jenner carries $63K blue Birkin to Knicks playoff game with Timothée Chalamet

She’s keeping up with the Knicks.
Following Monday night’s Met Gala, Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet were once again sat courtside at Wednesday night’s Knicks playoff game against the Philadephia 76ers.
Decked out in their best orange and blue, Jenner chose to keep it simple in a pair of EB jeans ($295) and white Guizio tank ($38), with an orange jacket tied around her waist.
As for her accessorizes, she managed to source the perfect pair of vintage Miu Miu mules ($480) for the occasion — and added a pricey blue Birkin bag.
A similar deep blue crocodile Hermès Birkin 35 is currently available for sale at Sotheby’s for $63,000.
Last week, the makeup mogul, 28, shared pics of her purse on Instagram, captioning it, “knicks blue obviously.”
Upping the glam on her casual outfit, the mom of two wore her massive pear-shaped diamond pinky ring and matching earrings.
Chalamet leaned into the festive hues as well, topping his T-shirt and jeans with a bright orange ‘90s-era Avirex leather jacket.
The “Dune” star, 30, skipped out on Monday night’s Met Gala in favor of a Knicks game while Jenner attended solo — and stole the show — in a dramatic illusion Schiaparelli ballgown.
After last night, Jenner and Chalamet might very well be a good luck charm for the Knicks; last week, the reality star wore a white tank top and embellished Isabel Marant jeans to watch the team advance to the second round.

Christina Ricci leaves shady comment on Katy Perry Met Gala photo

Christina Ricci left a savage — but succinct — comment on an Instagram carousel of pics featuring Katy Perry and Connor Storrie at the Met Gala.
“Yikes,” the “Addams Family” actress wrote under the pics, which featured the “Roar” singer in a polarizing Stella McCartney dress and futuristic face mask, alongside Storrie in a black polka dot Saint Laurent blouse and suit jacket.
In one photo, the “Heated Rivalry” star, 26, covered his face with one hand to imitate Perry’s mirrored mask.
Two other snaps in the upload — which was shared by Variety on Monday — featured individual portraits of the stars in their Met Gala attire.
“#ConnorStorrie poses with #KatyPerry at the #MetGala, jokingly hiding his face to match her look,” the publication captured the pics.
Some fans in the comments thread of Ricci’s reaction agreed with her. “Came here just to like the comment,” one person wrote, while another added, “you said it, girl!”
Others were supportive of Perry’s eccentric fencing mask look, with one commenter remarking, “Okay Katy, i kinda like it 🤍” and another joking, “Connor and the astronaut.”
Yet another quipped, “Did he get to ask her if she’s ever felt like a plastic bag drifting through the wind do you think? 😉” referencing lyrics to Perry’s hit “Firework.”
Ricci’s one-word comment comes on the heels of Ruby Rose’s stunning allegation that Perry sexually assaulted her at a Melbourne nightclub back in 2010.
“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s–t what she thinks,” the “Orange is the New Black” alum responded to a Complex Music social media post about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s recent Coachella performance last month.
In a subsequent Threads message, Rose wrote that it had taken her “almost two decades” to go public with her claims against the 41-year-old pop star — who is currently dating former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.
She added, “Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”
A rep for the “Teenage Dream” hitmaker denied the incident in a strongly worded statement to Page Six.
“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” the rep stated last month.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
Following the bombshell allegation, Page Six confirmed that an investigation into the matter is underway.
“Melbourne Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” Acting Sergeant Paul Hogan of Victoria Police told Page Six in April.
“Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s Central Business District.”
Earlier that day, Rose shared via Threads that she had “finalized all reports” about the matter and stated in part that she is “no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.”
It’s worth noting that Rose, 40, and Ricci, 46, co-starred in the 2013 film “Around the Block,” which was filmed in Australia — though it’s unclear whether Ricci’s pointed social media remark was related to the allegations against Perry.
Ricci’s comment also seemingly underscored malcontent on the perimeter of the Met Gala, which saw a brawl break out among Anti-Bezos protesters as A-listers walked the famed staircase to the event — Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez reportedly paid millions to sponsor fashion’s biggest night.
Reps for Ricci and Perry did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment on Wednesday evening.
