Ryan Edwards is excited for the opportunity to forge a new relationship with his son.
The Teen Mom: Next Chapter star, 36, shows son Bentley, 16, whom he shares with ex Maci Bookout McKinney, around his new home on the Thursday, April 17 episode of the reality series.
The home is a big move for Edwards and fiancée Amanda Conner, who were excited to treat their blended family to a new start. During that time, Conner regained custody of her 11-year-old son, Brandon, who would also join the couple and their daughter, Presley, in the new family home.
During the tour, Brandon and Bentley can be seen talking about where to put things in the basement. The teen asks Brandon, “What do you think about your mom having a baby?”
“I’m really happy because I’ll have her. I’ll live with my mom,” he said.
“I never really stayed with my dad either, unless it’s at Mimi and Papa’s house,” Bentley told him.

“I’m really looking forward to having a big brother around,” Brandon adds with a big smile, making the teen blush a bit.
Later, Bentley and Ryan step outside for a talk of their own. Ryan tells Bentley, “I’m excited for you. I’m excited for Brandon and Stella and Jagger,” he says, referring to his other two children with ex MacKenzie Standifer.
After joking with Bentley about not sneaking out of the house, Ryan says, “When I was your age, I was most definitely running around. But you’re a good kid, I don’t have to worry about you.”
Ryan then starts to reflect on the fact that Maci was just 16 when they had Bentley. “For the longest, I’ve not been in a good place. And there, for a while, your mama didn’t want us together alone at all. I don’t blame her. Yeah, it made me mad, but I don’t blame her now.”
He continued, “And now, your mom and I get along great. Taylor and I get along. We played golf and I enjoyed it. I wish we would have done it a lot sooner, but like I told Taylor when we was golfing, I wouldn’t have wanted to deal with me then either, so I don’t blame him. And your mama was just protecting you, and I don’t blame her either.”
“Sixteen years later, here we are. I’m sorry it took us so long, but it’s better now than ever,” Ryan says. “I’d love to spend more time with you whenever. And you can come over here because I know we ain’t been able to, but I would enjoy that.”
“I’ve never really gotten to spend a night at a house you’ve been in,” Bentley says.
“I know, And if you’re ever uncomfortable with anything, if you don’t even want to tell me, just tell Mom and she’ll tell me. But just let us know.”
Bentley agrees to do that. Ryan concludes, “I think about this a lot. There were times, you know, that I wasn’t there for you. But I hope, by showing you that it’s a little different… I love you, though.”
“I love you, too,” Bentley says as the two hug.

Ahead of the big moment, Amanda opened up to Maci about what this move means to her and Ryan, who have each struggled in their relationship with their children as a result of their respective struggles with addiction.
“I’m excited. It’s going to be new, it’s going to be stressful, but we’re all just learning to do this together. So it’s really important for me and Ryan to bond with the kids and have them come over,” she says, asking Maci if she’d be comfortable with Bentley staying there overnight.
“I’m okay with Bentley staying the night. This will honestly, it will be the first time where he goes to where Ryan is living and be happy about it,” she says.
“That makes me happy, but I hate that it was like that,” Amanda says.
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.

Bret Michaels undergoes emergency surgery after performing 3 concerts in ‘intense’ pain

Bret Michaels revealed he underwent an unexpected surgery after experiencing “intense” pain from a kidney stone.
The Poison frontman, 63, shared an update from his hospital bed via Facebook on Wednesday, telling his followers that he’s learned “complete gratitude” for the hospital workers who helped care for him this week.
Michaels was taken to the hospital when the stone “would not pass” after seven days of waiting as the “pain became too much,” he shared.
“The pain became intense but, as usual, I played through Charleston [West Virginia], Grantville, [Pennsylvania], and a special private show at Fairchild AFB in Spokane for veterans, active duty and their families,” he wrote, adding that he was hospitalized “immediately, the next day” after his Spokane appearance.
“The operation has been done and is complete & I’m out of post-op recovery, and I’m doing everything within my power to feel better and continue playing great shows for great fans when I’ve got a complete clean bill of health.”
Michaels then expanded on his earlier “WisdomWednesday” lesson, noting that he’s “wise enough to know how important family, friends, fans, doctors and nurses play such a vital role in our everyday health.”
The “Every Rose Has its Thorn” hitmaker is next expected to hit the stage July 31 in Belleville, Illinois, as part of his string of North American shows. The slate of performances is scheduled to run through September.
Michaels was also previously scheduled to take part in the President Trump-affiliated Freedom 250 Presents: The Great American State Fair concert series, which ran from June 25 to July 10.
However on May 28, he canceled his performance — along with several other announced acts — citing concerns regarding safety and that the show had “evolved into something much more divisive” than what he signed up for.
“When this opportunity was originally presented to my team, it was described as a celebration of our country through music and a chance to honor our veterans, active military, first responders, teachers and hardworking Americans from all walks of life,” Michaels wrote.
“As the son of a veteran, and coming from a family that has proudly served, that is something I have always been honored to support.”
“Unfortunately, what was presented to us as a celebration of our country has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of,” he continued. “Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable.”

Johnny Depp is nearly unrecognizable at Comic-Con promoting new movie

Johnny Depp stunned fans by showing up at San Diego Comic-Con Thursday dressed as Ebenezer Scrooge.
The “Sleepy Hollow” actor was pictured at the yearly extravaganza wearing a top hat and heavy overcoat while carrying a cane as he channeled the iconic miser from “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol.”
The nearly unrecognizable actor sported a bushy brow, patchy grey facial hair and lengthy sideburns for the surprise appearance.
In one photo, he peered through a frost-covered windowpane, and in another, he emerged from what appeared to be a set re-creation of a snowy doorway.
Depp, 63, was snapped being greeted by cosplayers dressed as some of his most iconic characters from previous films — including Willy Wonka from 2005’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, Edward Scissorhands from the titular 1990 classic and Captain Jack Sparrow from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise (2003-2017).
Elsewhere at the pop culture convention, he took the stage at the legendary Hall H as Ebenezer, carrying a candlestick burned down to a short stub.
The trailer for the Ti West-directed film dropped Thursday online as well.
The actor was previously photographed on the London set of the film, looking equally as unrecognizable in costume as the Charles Dickens character.
In the February photos, Depp wore a navy blue robe and a cap covering his ears, appearing alongside co-star Andrea Riseborough — clad in head-to-toe white — who plays the Ghost of Christmas Past.
“Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol” also stars Ian McKellen, Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin and Rupert Grint.
The film is set for a Nov. 13 release.
The role is Depp’s comeback to mainstream Hollywood movies after he won a defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard in 2022.
He’d sued Heard for $50 million, claiming she defamed him in a Washington Post op-ed about abuse in 2018.
Ultimately, the “Aquaman” actress was ordered to pay Depp $15 million in — though she was also awarded $2 million for a counterclaim.
They settled the case that year, with Heard agreeing to pay her ex-husband $1 million.
Heard has since relocated to Spain, where she’s raising her children: Oonagh Paige, 5, and twins Ocean and Agnes, 1.
Prior to his legal showdown with Heard in the US, he lost a 2020 libel case against the UK Sun, which he sued for labeling him a “wife-beater” in a headline based on Heard’s allegations.

Kayla Nicole vying for ‘DWTS’ role after Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s wedding

Kayla Nicole is ready to sashay into the ballroom.
“Kayla Nicole would love to appear on ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ It would be the next natural step in her career,” a source told Page Six.
Nicole had the perfect opportunity to pitch herself when she attended the inaugural TIME100 Sports Gala in New York City on July 16, as longtime “DWTS” pro Witney Carson was a guest at the event.
“DWTS” Season 35 premieres in September with Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson and Guillermo Rodriguez already announced as cast members.
And while the rest of the cast will be revealed on “Good Morning America” on Sept. 2, Nicole will have to wait until Season 36 for her shot at a Mirrorball trophy.
The host of “The Pre-Game with Kayla Nicole” podcast is no stranger to reality TV.
She appeared on Season 3 of Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” in 2025, winning alongside “The Hills” alum Brody Jenner.
Speaking to Page Six previously, Nicole expressed how “excited” she was to show viewers her “raw, vulnerable” side on the program after dealing with the online criticism.
“I’m the opposite of being afraid of what people are going to see. I’m actually excited for people to see us stripped down, raw, vulnerable,” she shared.
In March, Nicole also pitched herself as the next “Bachelorette” after ABC canceled Taylor Frankie Paul’s season.
The model made a playful TikTok, titled “My audition to be the next ‘Bachelorette,’” where she listed off made-up qualities to try and impress potential suitors.
“Hey @ABC, heard you need a stand in? 🌹😂 ” she captioned her post.
The career goal comes after Nicole’s most prominent ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, married Taylor Swift in a lavish ceremony at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Nicole and Kelce, 36, broke up for good in May 2022 after a five-year on-again, off-again romance.
Since the split, Nicole has continued to reflect on their time together.
On “Special Forces,” Nicole called her “public breakup” with Kelce “overwhelming.”
In February, Nicole said during a TikTok live that Kelce was the “right person, wrong time” while discussing their split.
“Who knows? Could be compatibility issues,” she stated.
Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023, got engaged two years later and tied the knot at MSG over the July 4th weekend.
Tons of A-listers attended the nuptials, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Dakota Johnson and Adam Sandler, who officiated the ceremony.
At the same time of the wedding, Nicole posted a photo of a sunset view inside an apartment building.
