Security requests fans attending Ariana Madix’s Broadway show to refrain from mentioning her ex, Tom Sandoval
Broadway is a Tom Sandoval-free zone.
As fans waited to greet Ariana Madix earlier this week at New York City’s Ambassador Theatre, where the “Vanderpump Rules” star is currently starring as lead Roxie Hart in “Chicago,” a security guard politely asked them not to mention her cheating ex.
“Y’all fans of Ariana, right?” a security guard asked the eager crowd, as seen in a fan-recorded video shared online. “Please don’t mention her ex at all. He’s irrelevant. Thank you.”
Fans cheered at the request, with some claiming they’d “never” do such a thing. The excited crowd was waiting at the theater’s stage door, where the show’s performers often greet their supporters and sign the Playbill programs.
Madix, 38, made her Broadway debut as Roxie on Jan. 29. She was scheduled to perform in “Chicago” through March 24, but she extended her time on stage until April 7, according to Playbill.
“Opening night was terrifying and really exciting. I shed many tears that day,” she recalled during a February interview with Broadway Direct. “My mom was there. It felt like a rock concert! It’s something I will never forget.”

She also called it a “standout” moment following such a transformational year in her life. “You never know where life is going to take you, especially in an industry where you work and hustle behind the scenes,” she reflected.
Just over one year ago, the reality star discovered that Sandoval, her boyfriend of nine years, was cheating on her with their co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Sandoval, 41, and Leviss, 29, both publicly apologized to Madix, who has since moved on with fitness influencer Daniel Wai.
However, the drama resulting from the split still follows her.
In February, Sandoval denied Madix’s request to sell their shared $2 million Los Angeles home after she sued him in an attempt to get it on the market.
Then, that same month, Leviss sued both Sandoval and Madix for revenge porn, intentional infliction of emotional distress, eavesdropping and invasion of privacy. The suit pertains to an intimate FaceTime video that the former Bravo star alleged the bar owner filmed without her consent.
Neither Madix nor Sandoval have publicly addressed the lawsuit.
