Exactly 20 years ago today, “Hannah Montana” premiered on Disney Channel, introducing viewers to a new starlet in Miley Cyrus, who appeared as the titular pop star.

Today, Cyrus is putting her blonde wig back on to celebrate the teen sitcom’s legacy with a “Hannah Montana” 20th anniversary special streaming exclusively on Disney+.

“Hannah Montana” originally ran for four seasons between 2006 and 2011, with a feature film released in 2009. The series followed Miley Stewart (Cyrus), an “Ordinary Girl” by day and, when donning a blonde wig, a pop sensation known as Hannah Montana by night.

In the new special, Cyrus will step back into her character’s iconic closet and glittery wardrobe, in addition to a new intimate sit-down with Call Her Daddy host and “Hannah Montana” super fan Alex Cooper. Never-before-seen footage and recreations of the TV show’s memorable sets will also take center stage as Cyrus looks back on the moments, music and memories that defined her “Hannah Montana” era.

“‘Hannah Montana’ will always be a part of who I am,” Cyrus said in a release announcing the special. “What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection.”

The “Hannah Montana” 20th anniversary special will release today, March 24, at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT only on Disney+.

Miley also confirmed to Variety that Selena Gomez, who also got her start on Disney Channel, will also cameo in the “Hannah Montana” special. Gomez played her “Wizards of Waverly Place” character Alex Russo in a 2009 crossover episode, but also appeared in three episodes of “Hannah Montana” as Mikayla, a rival pop star.

Valerie Perrine, the actress best known for her role in the Christopher Reeve “Superman” movies, has died. She was 82.

The late actress passed away at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Monday morning following a “courageous” battle with Parkinson’s disease, her partner Stacey Souther announced on Facebook.

“It is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking news that Valerie has passed away,” Souther began. “She faced Parkinson’s disease with incredible courage and compassion, never once complaining.”

He remembered Perrine as a “true inspiration who lived life to the fullest” and noted that the “world feels less beautiful without her in it.”

“I love you, Valerie,” Souther ended his touching message. “I’ll see you on the other side.”

Souther also launched a GoFundMe page to raise $35,000 to give Perrine the “farewell she deserves.”

Justin Timberlake was quite the comedian after being arrested in the Hamptons for DWI.

Footage of the singer’s June 2024 arrest was released Friday after his unsuccessful legal attempt to block it. During one light-hearted moment from the incident, Timberlake, 45, cracked a joke about his race being labeled “white” on a form he was asked to sign.

After he was asked to look over his paperwork, he appeared confused as he looked up at an officer and questioned, “White?”

When the officer laughed, he cracked, “I’m just kidding.”

Timberlake himself chuckled, adding, I’m just kidding, man.”

The Grammy-winning singer was jovial enough during the encounter with police officers, but he did appear to be in disbelief when told that he was going to have to spend the night in jail.

“You guys are wild, man,” he remarked.

Timberlake was pulled over by police that night after he allegedly ran a stop sign and swerved between lanes following a night out with friends.

At the beginning of the nearly 20-minute video, he was pulled over in his gray 2025 BMW and complied when asked to complete several tests.

He seemed to be confused by the instructions as he told the officers, “These are, like, hard tests.”

He later stumbled a couple times while attempting to walk a straight line.

“My heart’s racing,” he said.

A female friend arrived after he was handcuffed and put in the back of a squad car and tried to get him off the hook, though she was unsuccessful.

“You’re arresting Justin Timberlake right now?” she asked, later pleading, “Can you guys please just do me a favor ’cause you loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘Sexyback?’ Do me one favor!”

Timberlake signed off on a plea deal dropping his DWI charge down to a traffic violation, which is not a criminal offense, in September 2024.

Before hammering out the agreement, the “Rock Your Body” singer pleaded not guilty to the original charges twice.

His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., was previously adamant that the singer was “not intoxicated” at the time of his arrest.

“The police made a number of very significant errors in this case,” Burke told Page Six a month after his client was arrested.
