Angela took to her Instagram to share cryptic messages about trust, hinting at the turmoil she was feeling. Her posts included phrases like “When trust is broken, sorry means nothing” and “They killed your name privately but God is about to honor your life publicly.” These messages reflected her internal struggle as she navigated the uncertainty surrounding Michael’s disappearance.
The situation escalated when Angela revealed that Michael had been missing from their Georgia home since Friday. Martina McBride quits Freedom 250 festival meant to celebrate America’s birthday

Country star Martina McBride has dropped out of the Freedom 250 concert series one day after it was announced, claiming the event celebrating America’s 250th birthday was “misleading.”
The singer revealed Thursday that she would no longer appear at the President Trump-affiliated Freedom 250 Presents: The Great American State Fair, the free 16-day festival set to take over the National Mall in Washington, D.C., with concerts, military tributes and patriotic bashes for America’s 250th anniversary.
“I was presented with the opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event, but that turned out to be misleading,” McBride wrote on Instagram.
“I asked lots of questions and was assured this was a nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate ALL 50 states. In my mind I thought this was a great way to celebrate the states and also bring people together in the way that only music can.”
“Yesterday things started changing and what we were told is, in fact, not what is happening,” she continued.
“I’ve spent my entire career singing about real people with real issues. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be a voice for those who have felt like they didn’t have one.”
“It greatly upsets me that any fan who has been moved by my music may now feel like I’m abandoning the meaning behind those songs. I assure you, that is not the case,” she added.
McBride had been scheduled to perform on June 25, the opening night of the festival, which is designed to celebrate America’s history, culture and music.
Her exit aligned with a handful of other cancellations after the lineup was unveiled this week, with Bret Michaels, Young MC, Morris Day & The Time and The Commodores also backing out.
Michaels echoed McBride’s comments in an Instagram post Thursday night.
“When this opportunity was originally presented to my team, it was described as a celebration of our country through music and a chance to honor our veterans, active military, first responders, teachers and hardworking Americans from all walks of life,” he said.
“Unfortunately, what was presented to us as a celebration of our country has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of.”
But several acts are still enthusiastically on board — including Vanilla Ice, Flo Rida and C+C Music Factory.
There was some confusion after Milli Vanilli was announced to perform at the festival. However, singer Jodie Rocco — one of the original studio vocalists behind the group — told the Associated Press that neither she nor any other member had been asked to appear.
But surviving Milli Vanilli frontman Fab Morvan confirmed he plans to perform and embraced the event’s patriotic message.
“I am here to entertain and unite people, not divide them,” Morvan said in a statement. “Let’s celebrate life & music and take a trip down memory lane.”
Vanilla Ice is also standing by the event. A rep for the rapper told the Associated Press he is “proud to help celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary!”
“Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate USA’s Birthday and our Freedom!” the rep added.
Freedom 250 was launched by Trump last year and describes itself as a “national, non-partisan organization leading the celebration of our Nation’s 250th birthday.” Former State Department official Keith Krach was appointed CEO.
The Great American State Fair runs June 25 through July 10 and will include concerts, state showcases and special programming including Military & Veterans Appreciation Day, Faith Values and Inspiration Day and MAHA Monday, focused on Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again initiative.

‘Sex and the City’ alum reveals surprising career move after coming out of hiding

And just like that, Jason Lewis is an author.
The “Sex and the City” alum, 54, revealed he moved to Costa Rica and wrote a nine-book fantasy series, a week after emerging on Instagram for the first time in three years.
During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter Thursday, Lewis revealed he spent his time in Central America surfing, learning Spanish and waking up — sometimes at 4 a.m. — to work on his trilogies.
“I do my thing and walk the beach or run the beach if the surf isn’t good yet and then have my coffee and settle in and get to the desk and have a session,” he detailed.
After breakfast he heads back to his desk and tries to “get anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 words on the page a day.”
The books are all “set in the same world in different eras,” with the “Sex and the City 2” star releasing the seventh book first.
“I chose to start at the end,” Lewis told the outlet, stating that his novels land under the “epic fantasy” genre.
The actor shared that his return to social media was at the behest of his representation, but he doesn’t want “to get lost in the idea of performative posting.”
“I very much like to try and create a community,” Lewis expressed, “and not just be in the broadcast of, ‘Hey, check me out. Aren’t I awesome?’”
However, the writer knows he has to grow an audience that will take interest in his books, so he “put a lot of thought” into his first post back.
On May 21, Lewis uploaded a video of himself walking on the beach to the social media platform.
He cryptically explained to his followers why it “was time” to finally return to the app.
“I went quiet,” Lewis admitted. “Not because I have nothing to say, but because I had something to do.”
“The kind of creative work that doesn’t leave room for much else, and I made my peace with that. It’s the kind of work that needs to find its people, though.”
At the time, Lewis didn’t key his fans into his writing, but did say the project was “far enough along now that it felt like it was time to resurface and share what I’ve been doing.”
The former model captioned his post, “After three years, it was time.”
Lewis left the public eye after competing on Season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2022.
He and his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, were the first pair eliminated.
Lewis credited his fianceé, actress Liz Godwin, with convincing him to give the ABC show a shot.
“This year, when the offer came in, my fiancée asked me to be a little less pigheaded and at least take a look at a show,” he told People at the time.
Lewis first gained popularity for portraying Samantha Jones’ (Kim Cattrall) young model boyfriend Smith Jerrod on “Sex and the City” from 2003 to 2004.
He then starred in the 2008 “Sex and the City” movie and its sequel in 2010.
Despite being a fan-favorite, Lewis — whose last acting role was in 2018’s “Midnight, Texas” — was not asked to return for the show’s reboot series, “And Just Like That.”
“As much as I appreciate the flattery,” Lewis expressed to the Daily Front Row at the time, “the conversation is about the girls.”

Travis Kelce hints he and Taylor Swift are considering huge life change after highly anticipated wedding

Travis Kelce gave a sign that he and Taylor Swift are changing their last names after getting married.
The NFL athlete, 36, “liked” an Instagram post Tuesday from the podcast “Bussin With the Boys,” in which hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan discussed if Swift will change her last name to Kelce after tying the knot.
A guest on the podcast noted that Swift was “way more globally famous” than Kelce, and that Kelce would have to change his name. The hosts joked that “Travis Swift” was a fitting name for Kelce, but that “Taylor Kelce” also sounded good.
They then landed on the two hyphenating their last names to “Swift-Kelce.”
“No, you gotta go Swift-Kelce — Travis Swift-Kelce,” they enthusiastically said.
Fans loved Kelce liking the post, with one fan commenting, “Travis liking this is hilarious 😂😂 that’s why he’s perfect for her.”
Another wrote, “love that travis liked this video 😂😍.”
Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating. A source told Page Six that they’re expected to wed this summer in New York City.
The couple hasn’t been shy about going on public date nights ahead of their big day.
On Saturday, they attended a Knicks game in New York, though Kelce — an Ohio native — was of course cheering for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Though the Cavaliers ended up losing, Kelce appeared to enjoy himself, at one point chugging a beer courtside while Swift watched in amusement.
With their wedding just weeks away, lawyer Sarah Luetto, a partner in Blank Rome’s Matrimonial & Family Law Group, exclusively spoke with Page Six about what a potential prenuputial agreement between the pair might entail.
They could be barred from discussing their marriage under a prenuptial non-disclosure agreement — though the pop star, 36, could still retain the right to sing about their relationship.
“Swift and Kelce may wish to include terms fostering confidentiality and privacy,” Leutto, who does not represent either party, told us. “This may include non-disparagement or non-disclosure terms related to their relationship.”
“In Taylor’s case, she would likely not want to include provisions limiting her from singing about her relationship in songs, particularly since there is always so much speculation about the subjects of her songwriting,” she added.
